No explanation of the strange object in the drink!!! Not acceptable!

We went there in a hot summer noon. Since it’s hot, we choose to sit inside with roof above. And since the waitress strongly recommend, I ordered a combo with a burger, a French fries, an ice tea, and a regular hot drink. The ice tea came first and that’s when the accident happened.

After first 2 sip of the ice tea, with a straw, from the bottom of the drink, I felt something in my mouth and I spit out a fluffy material. (See picture for reference) We called another waiter(who seems to be also taking care of the drink making) and show him the issue. Without any explain or further communication, he took the drink and the evidence away. And I got another one of the same drink by the original waitress. Again no explanation. It is after we asked her, and then she said she had no idea why we get served another drink. I had to show her the napkin with another fur ( picture 2) that was remaining in my mouth to tell her the situation. We are afraid if we keep pressing, we might get spit in our burger later. Believing we should get a proper answer by the end of the meal we did not make it a fuss and calmly finished our burger. To be honest, the burger and the French fries were not bad. But even when we get to the check out phase, still dead silence about the drink issue. After we asked the waitress and demanding an answer of why it happened and what exactly is that fluffy thing. She simply said the restaurant has never came up with this issue before and she think it might be coming from the air outside. Oh, come on, we were sitting in side the room and this square outside barely have any trees. And an air blow object would not end up in the first 2 sip of drink I used straw to get from the button of my glass bottle drink.

We are so tired and a bit dizziness because of the heat so we did not make a seen at site. But I am having the fear that I might have swallowed some part of the fluffy object in, and I do want to know what was that and what really caused that into my drink.

I am still alive but that’s not the excuse for this nonsense to be allowed. We need apology, we need explanation, and if that’s what might happened in other customer’s drink, we need to avoid that from...

It is sad that the experience we had at that restaurant ruined our day. On the day of the Maroon 5 concert, we decided to grab something to eat near the concert hall. Due to the excitement of the concert, we were in a happy mood. Upon entering the restaurant, a lady welcomed us and said we could sit wherever we wanted. Only 20% of the restaurant was occupied, while the rest of it was empty. We chose a table for two near the window and placed our order. We waited with anticipation (for about 20 minutes), enjoying the atmosphere. Suddenly, an elder waitress came over and told us to move to another table because a group of 8 people had reserved that particular table. Her tone was not kind; it felt like an order. We mentioned that another waitress had told us we could choose any available table, especially since the restaurant was almost empty. Despite our reluctance, she insisted, so we ended up moving to a less pleasant table away from the window. We tried to forget about the incident and continued waiting for our order. After we finished eating, we asked for the bill. This time, a different lady came to collect the payment. We preferred to pay in cash, but she noticed that we weren't leaving a tip. She started lecturing us about how tipping is expected in Germany, and her behavior felt commanding. We expressed our unhappiness with the way we were treated, trying to explain what had happened with the elder lady who had ordered us to move to a different table. However, she refused to listen and simply said, "Leave the bill, that's enough." It seemed like she was used to this kind of situation. To the management: Your food was not bad; we liked the sweet potato and salad. However, you have no right to treat people in such a disrespectful manner. Your actions ruined our day and affected our concert experience. I cannot recommend your restaurant to any...

Ich war mit einem Arbeitskollegen dort um einen Vergleich zwischen Hans im Glück und Peter Pane zu machen.

Also wir ankamen, war der Laden in etwa zu 50% ausgelastet, aber dennoch waren die zumeist jungen Servicekräfte doch relativ stark ausgelastet. Wir warteten am Eingang, auf das man uns einen Tisch zuwies. Dies dauerte in etwa 10 Minuten...relativ lange. Innen drin bestellten wir den größten Burger, der verfügbar war. Das Ganze doppelte Ausführung: Also 2x Burger + 1x Zwiebelringe + 2 Getränke.

Für die Zustellung aller Waren wartenden wir insg. 40 Minuten, was bei einer Auslastung von 50% nicht in Ordnung ist. Auch wurde alles auf einmal gebracht an den Tisch, bis auf die Getränke..die kamen am Anfang.

Man hätte halt wenigstens die Zwiebelringe zuerst bringen können, anstatt uns 40 Minuten hungernd dort warten zu lassen.

Zum Essen:

Hier wird, anders als bei Peter Pane KEIN anderes Fleisch angeboten....kein Angusbeef. Fals ich mich irre und dem doch so ist, dann tut mir das Leid, aber nirgends wurde darauf in der Speisekarte hingewiesen oder zu schlecht.

Also Standardpattie, welche definitiv TK-Ware sind und vorgefertigt dann heißt gemacht werden. Dementsprechend schmeckte auch das Fleisch. Es war leicht zäh, mit einer ebenmäßigen Textur...so wie man es von Fertigpatties halt kennt. Alles gleich groß und rund. Des öfteres hätte man zwischen den Zähnen kleine Stücke an Fett und evtl. Sehnen? Auf jeden Fall lohnt es sich Zahnstocher mitzunehmen xD.

Das einzige Gute war, dass man es wirklich medium gebraten hatte. Wir wurden auch seltsamerweise nicht gefragt, ob wir unser Patties medium,gar oder tot haben wollen. Es wurde medium rosa gebracht...basta.

Das Brot oder die "Buns" waren etwas pappig und wirkten nicht sonderlich frisch. Der Käse auf dem Burger war nicht wirklich zu sehen....Dies sieht man auch schön auf dem Foto...eine ganz kleine Käsescheibe. Das Ganze wurde geschickt mit einer Käsesoße verziert, die aber extrem lecker ist...nicht schlecht. Dennoch vermissten wir echte Käsescheiben. Der Salat war so lala..ein Salatblatt...eine Tomatenscheibe..keine Gewürzgurken?? Ings. hat uns der Burger für 17,90€ nicht umgehauen. Das Fleisch war OK vom Geschmack, aber definitiv nicht so gut, wie das von Peter Pane. Insg. fanden wir die Portionen definitiv zu klein...was auch viele andere Rezensionen hier bestätigen.

Die Zwiebelringe gefielen uns gut, aber die dazu gereichte Soße schmeckte zu salzig und zu sehr nach Branntweinessig. Schade.

Die Getränke waren Zero-Holunder Drinks. Geschmacklich leider nicht der Knaller und mit zuviel Eis gepanscht.

Das Ambiente war gut, aber ähnelte doch sehr Peter Pane. Aber es gefiel uns.

Insg. würden wir nicht nochmal dort essen gehen und ziehen Peter Pane definitiv vor...alleine wegen des Angus Beef und weil wir bei Peter Pane ca. 10 Min max. auf unser Essen warten. Auch die Getränke sind bei Peter Pane definitiv besser...sry.

Das Alles hier spiegelt meine Meinung wieder...Geschmäcker sind...
