We had a really nice experience here yesterday! It was a busy evening due to a staff shortage, and I imagine the sudden change in weather didn’t help with people moving inside all at once, then back out again when the rain stopped. Despite all this, we were served with kindness, professionalism, and good humour :) A special shout-out to the waitress handling our section: calm, attentive, composed, and kind, even as things got hectic (and even in the face of rudeness from other customers). Unfortunately, we witnessed a group of customers being unnecessarily rude and confrontational toward her (they’ve also left a review), and I want to offer a counter-narrative/review to this: it was clear this was an extraordinary evening, and from our perspective, the staff handled it as well as anyone could. The only thing we noticed was how rude that other table was! Even if you’re disappointed, basic respect is the minimum..
Unfortunately the bar staff are not in control of the kitchen wait time, the weather or other extraordinary events... All in all, we had a great time! The wine and food were excellent, and despite the pressure, the atmosphere stayed warm and welcoming. We waited a bit to order, but the wine came quickly once we had and the food was worth the wait (especially the charcuterie board, the small one was perfect for two people). Honestly, we were just grateful to enjoy the evening and really don't understand the harsh words! Looking forward to coming...
Read moreWe visited Jane & the jam when they first opened and enjoyed a glass of wine (ok, maybe a few bc we couldn’t decide and they were all so good) and charcuterie board and snacks in the back, the secret wine bar. The wine was amazing and the food was delicious, the charcuterie was so beautiful I didn’t want to eat it! But then I took my first bite and couldn’t stop. The butter beans, artichokes and burrata were also incredible. Loved talking with the woman who runs it, Jaime. After another trip to Berlin I had to come back and wow, I wasn’t expecting it to have made to many amazing improvements! Jane & the Jam now feels like a comfy living room in the front while still having the secret wine bar and this time I peeked into the private dining room and now I want to host an event! We sat on the couch and chatted while having glasses of wine and another charcuterie board with some onion jam (to die for), pickled veggies (ended up getting a second order) and the eggplant dip. Everything was outstanding. The attention to detail in every aspect of this place makes you feel special. They added sandwiches too, which we ordered to go along with a bottle of wine. We got the lady Jane and burrata with added prosciutto and even after sitting in our bike basket for while, they were still some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had and perfect while we sat by the river. Jane & the jam is now one of my favorite spots and...

I visited Jane and the Jam with my girlfriend who was visiting from Miami, and we were both genuinely blown away. We’ve seen a lot of great places around the world, but this one really stood out.
The atmosphere is super cute and relaxed—just the kind of place you’d hope to stumble upon in a quiet Berlin street, even on a Saturday night. It felt like a little escape from the city without actually leaving it. We didn’t have a reservation, but the staff went out of their way to make space for us outside, which we really appreciated.
The drinks were excellent, the service was warm and cool in the best way, and overall it just had that perfect balance of charm and chill. Whether you’re heading out for a casual drink after work or looking for a cozy spot to spend time with your partner or friends, this place really delivers.
Highly recommend stopping by—Jane and the Jam has that kind of magic that makes you want...
