Overly rated and mediocre service with no acknowledgement on forgotten your order. I also learnt my lesson which is combination of two foods are not a good idea even when they look good on picture.
I stopped by when I saw the image of crème brûlée crepe at their window. Minimum spending 10 euros to use a bank card. 🤔
I order a drink and the crepe. After ordering I sat outside for about 10 mins and got my drink. Lavender earl grey. Plus point for their straws.
Then I waited another 5-8 mins until I saw the waitress serving next table their food who came much later than me. I asked the waitress and pretty sure they’ve forgotten my order because she looked shocked and awaken by the idea of my order.
No apologies or any acknowledgment. 5 mins later the waitress brought out my order. Again no apologies. No eye contact. That was it.
So the service was very mediocre and so was the food. It’s was not amazing. Soggy and crepe was thick. I learnt my lesson which is combination of two foods are not a good idea even when they look good on picture.
Follow up to Puffle Bees’s response: If you already knew the crepe is going to take THAT long then you should train your staff to acknowledge the length of waiting time. That is called communication and customer service.
I don’t usually leave review like this and I will not alter my reviews because you do need to learn a lesson of training staff properly.
Thank you...
Read moreThis place is literally disgusting! I am quite disappointed because I came here from a 30-minute drive due to all the good reviews.
I ordered the white chocolate& pistachio puffle and it tastes terrible and oily. The dough itself tastes of oil and the cherry on top. THERE WAS A HAIR IN MY PLATE!!! (Check picture). I didn’t tell them to change it because I was already disgusted from the whole thing. We also ordered the grilled cheese puffle and it is a mere cheese piece on the dough and the whole thing is greasy and bland and terrible. The tea lid cannot fit on the tea pot because of the strainer inside, so the lid falls off every time you try to pour tea and causes a mess and danger of breaking the cup. They didn’t even give us a small plate to put the strainer in. The coffee is very bad. The prices are quite high. Overall, a very bad experience and I do not...
Read morePuffle Bees offers a range of dishes beyond just waffles, including savory options like sandwiches and creative takes on traditional dishes. The presentation of the food is definitely Instagram-worthy, with visually appealing plates. However, the taste didn’t fully meet expectations.
The fried chicken egg drop sandwich looked great but lacked in flavor and seasoning, while the waffle with salmon was interesting but a bit underwhelming in terms of taste. The sweet waffle topped with pistachios was good but not exceptional.
The café has a nice, cozy vibe but the overall experience felt more focused on aesthetics than delivering bold flavors. It’s a decent place for a casual bite or if you’re in the mood for something visually appealing, but the quality of the food could be improved, especially...
