Amazing crepes! This lovely place offers a huge variety of salty & sweet crepes (thin French pancakes). The interior reminds me of a nice cellar and is kept minimalistic and original. They offer 5 or 6 different cidres, I highly recommend trying one of them. The crepes are all delicious but my preferred crepe is the La Campagnarde, with brie cheese, bacon, caramelized aples and some salad. I come back here often and it’s always a friendly welcome. The employees usually speak French as well. Also, after your main salty crepe, I recommend sharing a sweet crepe as dessert. They have couple of delicious ones like the one with grand marnier. I wanted a nice surprise for a Valentine's outing and came across this Breton restaurant. Galettes and crepes are served in many variations, some with traditional and some with more experimental fillings. My beautiful wife had a galette florentine (lots of vegetables and goat cheese) and I opted for galette bleue (pears, walnuts and blue cheese). For desert we ordered creme brulee (quite a traditional choice 😄). Everything tasted extraordinary, even the plates were unique as they are actual roughly hewn pieces of slates stone. Berlin is a busy place and traveling in a big city can be a bit stressful, even when one is on vacation. However, a visit to La Bigoudène will make everyone (even the kids) relax. La Bigoudène is a french style crêperie that offer a wide variety of home made crepes - they serve crepes with sweets and ice creams (deserts), and crepes with cheese and/or vegetables (for lunch and dinner). The staff at this crêperie are also very nice and friendly. We really felt at home in the cozy cellar. It’s also easy to park near the crêperie and the staff speaks english.
