Lois in Gormannstraße is an absolute gem and easily my go-to café in Berlin. Whether you’re looking for a perfect morning pastry, a relaxing afternoon break, or a cozy spot to enjoy a glass of sparkling wine, Lois delivers on every level.
The pain au chocolat here is simply perfection—buttery, flaky, and filled with just the right amount of rich, velvety chocolate. It’s the kind of pastry that makes you pause and savor every bite. Their other baked goods and small plates are just as delightful, always fresh and made with high-quality ingredients.
But what truly sets Lois apart is its impressive selection of sparkling wines. Whether you’re in the mood for a crisp German Sekt, a refined Champagne, or a natural pét-nat, there’s something for every taste. The staff is knowledgeable and happy to offer recommendations, making the experience even more enjoyable.
The atmosphere is effortlessly stylish and welcoming, with a mix of locals and visitors who appreciate the finer things in life without any pretension. Whether you’re starting your day with an espresso and a pastry or winding down with a glass of bubbles, Lois is the perfect place to do it. A true...

Feel very cheated to be honest… he seemed like he might be high. But no evidence of this. Just feel like half our bottle was stolen… Oh well. We...

I thought the first time he might have been having a bad day, but apparently it's a regular occurrence. A terrifying experience,...
