I make it my business to go here, every time I visit Berlin 🇩🇪, especially for the cinnamon rolls! They do great sandwiches if you wanna stop for lunch and they also do delicious coffee and they offer decaf. I have rated this place, five stars in all areas except service, which I’m rating four stars. I’m not sure if it’s a cultural difference or if the staff are just extremely tired from being busy all the time, but there was no positive energy coming off of the staff member, who served me. I totally get that staff members shouldn’t have to smile or be kind to everyone they meet that would be exhausting, especially in a popular destination like this however, as a solo traveller is something I look out for. Sometimes I can feel uncomfortable in spaces when I don’t feel welcomed. I’m also a black woman and I’m always on highlight when I’m alone and out and about so a little emotional connection or kindness would have given service a five star here. Absolutely five stars for everything else the food is incredible. The coffee is incredible. The atmosphere is really fun watching tourist come and go if you just wanna sit and people watch . I will say I don’t like coming here in summer because there are a lot of wasps and it’s all open plan the windows fully open so whether you’re inside or outside there are wasps everywhere in winter which is when I recently went based on this review, not a single wasp in sight And a really comfortable visit.

Oh, Zeit für Brot (near Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz) in Berlin, how sweet it is! This bakery is an absolute gem that offers some of the most delicious bread and pastries around. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with the warm and welcoming scent of freshly baked goods. The cozy and rustic decor creates a charming atmosphere that invites you to stay awhile and indulge in the bakery's delights. And what delights they are! The bread is simply divine, with each loaf boasting its own unique flavor and texture. The sourdough and rye breads are particular favorites, but really, you can't go wrong with any of the offerings. The bakery's commitment to traditional techniques really shines through in the taste and quality of their bread. But that's not all - the pastries and cakes are equally as wonderful. The croissants are flaky and buttery, the cinnamon rolls are sticky and sweet, and the cheesecake is creamy and indulgent. The presentation of the pastries is also beautiful, making them almost too pretty to eat (but of course, you'll eat them anyway!). To top it all off, the staff at Zeit für Brot are friendly and attentive, making the overall experience a true delight. Whether you're a local or a visitor to Berlin, this bakery is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth or a love for delicious bread.

This is THE place for cinnamon rolls. Cinnamon rolls with walnuts and with dark chocolate were both great, but I am slightly inclined to the one with walnuts. I went to this shop 3 times during my 12-day stay in Berlin. The coffees were also great. I tried caffe latte, flat white, cappuccino and americano. - Americano and cappuccino are offered as medium and large(grande) and I believe the medium size comes with a single expresso shot while the large size comes with two shots. - Caffe latte and flat white only come in the medium size. - If you want a relatively strong coffee, e.g. caffe latte with an extra shot, you might as well just go for a grande cappuccino as it works out cheaper and the difference between latte and cappuccino is not so distinctive here, nonetheless still great :)

It’s a super busy place with good quality of bakeries and coffees. The place was over crowded and it was hard to find a spot for sitting. Also the lines for to-go almost never ends. Their cinnamon roll was delicious and fluffy, not super sweet like the American ones, but you will still enjoy it. We tried the new your cheese cake and it was average, it tasted like yogurt and was not as sweet as expected. It was okay not the best yet. The chocolate rolls were good and fluffy exactly like the cumin on ones, but again not even sweet and the chocolate was not sweet enough for me, it tasted more of coco spread than chocolate. The butter croissant was very good actually and it was aired in a good fluffy way.

Lovely cinnamon and chocolate scrolls, which make an ideal breakfast for a cold winter morning. Their chai latte was also very good. I was very disappointed by the management of this place though. A very rude guy was sitting directly opposite the bar area, and had his legs up on the table. Very rude behaviour and also uncleanliness issue. None of the members of staff bothered to say anything. In addition, he had not ordered anything and was holding down a table whilst people were waiting outside in the snow queuing. All in all, bad performance by management and shows a disregard for their customers. They should have higher standards for themselves.
