Finally the best and real authentic sushi place in Berlin. The Omasake menu from the first bite to the last was finely prepared and presented. Sushi rice is prepared freshly per each batches of customers, if you have any preferences (type of fish, allergies, food intolerances etc) be sure that they will be taken into account. The atmosphere is warm and creates closeness with the chef and also with the other guests. When you are watching the chef, you feel like you have been transported to Japan for a second. Keep in mind that this not only a dining experience but rather a full Japanese culture and cuisine experience. Another major point, since there is few seatings, this is a private chef experience! I’ll definitely visit here every now and then because the menu changes according to the seasons and seasonal fishes. Highly recommended! PS: Unfortunately I couldn’t wait to take photos of the served sushi, but this sentence alone proves how...

We were so lucky to get a reservation for two people just two days in advance, as it can often be quite difficult to book here. I’m familiar with the omakase concept, and this place is truly one of the best choices. Daisuke ( I hope I guess his name correctly), the chef and owner, runs everything himself and carefully maintains the quality.

The food was outstanding—amazingly fresh, with wasabi and soy sauce that were light and balanced, allowing the natural flavor of the fish to shine. We were served several nigiri, maki, miso soup, tamagoyaki (a Japanese egg roll dessert), and matcha ice cream.

I would especially recommend this restaurant to sushi lovers who are looking for authentic Japanese cuisine, rather than those simply seeking a large sushi meal. I will definitely come back if I visit...

I have been trying to get a spot for a couple weeks and finally managed to reserve. I suggest that one should check here and there. I have seen slots for usually 1 pm and once 7 pm.

It’s a very small place which accepts only 6 people at a time. There are no waiters. Everyone sits around the sushi bar and the chef serve everything per person/group as he prepares it. It lasted around 1.30 hours. We got different nigiris, a few sushi rolls and as desert sweet omelette and sorbet. The sushi was amazing and I would say it’s an experience rather than eating to get full. They don’t have any alcohol and water/tea will be served and the chef always renewed our teas. The price per person was 60 EUR...
