Roots Café — Restaurant in Berlin

Lovely spacious cafe with a nice decor with friendly service. tried the carrot cake which was moist and with a slight salty icing which was actually quite nice.

The Cheesecake may however be the nicest I've had in all of Berlin after quite a few years here. It was super fresh with a great consistency and light flavour of vanilla and lemon. Plus the biscuit base was actually hard! Seems to be an incredibly rare occurrence in Berlin. Ordered a flat white but ended up with a Cappuccino but I wasn't too bothered so i didn't want to make a fuss. I'm definitely going to come back and try a few other things as the breakfast sounds very nice.

Really spacious and cozy, staff was also so friendly, they have fantastic coffee and great food selection. I was there on a quiet day to do some research and write, it was the perfect space for it -- i just wish the wifi would work a bit better, i might come here more often if it could be a productive cafe for some work in the day! Also saw that they do language tandem nights every Tuesday at 8pm, i've never attended but live nearby so every time i walk by it seems busy and fun! We went there in search of good working place . Unfortunately there were screaming children constantly running inside the cafe which was really disturbing. We had not yet ordered anything and when we left because of the loud noise, the waitress murmured to us that "we only wanted to use their Wifi and not order anything," and then she left without letting us to tell the real reason for our leaving.
