UPDATED...much better service. Portions still very large so look out for that and the meal was expensive, even for a Berlin, but overall a much better experience. Went up to 5* as the service now seems to match the food quality. Prices are very subjective so I leave that to individuals. One of the best sushi you can get anywhere in Berlin. Atmosphere was good. Location great for your right in the middle of one of the best late night drinking areas in Berlin. Portions are generous and I especially recommend the "Perfect Day" menu for 2 people. Drinks menu is extensive and varied. Prices are VERY high and this where it gets tricky for them and why my overall rating is only 3*. With prices this high (we paid €150 for 2 with no dessert and no wine!), the service must be perfect to match the food. We had to wait 20mins for anyone to take our order. Even for drinks!! This creates a bad taste before the food comes. To compound this I saw a restaurant with 50 people at the front and 7 waiting staff all together at the back laughing ans joking and completely ignoring us. It's great that they are having fun at work. It adds to the customer experience as happy staff normally equals happy customers BUT the customers need to be served....not IGNORED. It was a very poor service experience and I saw NOONE take control of the staff and tell them it was unacceptable to ignore customers and gather together like that. You want to charge this much and simply rely on the food?? I have eaten in a few of their restaurants over the years and this is the worst one so far. Can't recommended until I go back, which I shall as we live locally and give it a 2nd chance to redeem themselves. Perhaps it will improve if enough people highlight this...
Read moreReally enjoyed the food. Everything we had was very tasty and I think the prices are justified for what you get. However, I had ordered mixed plate with all kinds of sushi and sticks and everything came in very random order. First I got one nigiri that was part of my main dish even before the starter I had ordered as well. Then they brought the sushi of my main dish, then the starter and then the sticks. Unfortunately after having finished all of that I needed to remind the staff twice that some dishes that were part of this plate were still missing and they then came as sth which seemed as a kind of afterthought. Why do you advertise a mixed plate in the menu and then bring it all separately? I had to check several times if I really got everything I paid for. Not what I call a relaxed experience. Finally, we decided to order a dessert. At 8.30pm they were already out of most of the options. Also the girl responsible for our table brought us the menu, let us make our choice only to tell us then that all we wanted was basically not available anymore. Why not tell us in the first place? Really not happy with the service. As said before enjoyed the food nevertheless but wouldn’t recommend due to the...

On my most recent visit, I tried the sashimi platter, which was incredibly fresh and delicious. I also enjoyed the yakitori, which was cooked perfectly. The sushi rolls were also very good, and they had a wide variety to choose from.
