Tex-Mex — Restaurant in Berlin

It's a decent place with good food. I loved the corn on the cop. They are 5 Stars. The tacos and the baked potato where ok, therefore for me three stars. I didn't like that they haven't really prepared the tacos. And because of their setup I wasn't able to prepare them myself. I like to put the stuff inside the taco. Usually: meat, salad, sauce cheese or meat, sauce, salad, cheese. And then I can lift them end eat them with my hands. That wasn't possible with their version. So it was more like nachos with tacos instead of nachos. But the tase was ok. The baked potato was a good size portion, but nothing specials. But the corn on the cop was really nice. I went to this place after riding for 15-20 mins during my initial visit to Germany. I didn’t know I’m the first place they only take cash. I went ahead and ordered chips and guac and started having and realized they don’t take cards. Asked one of the guys in the counter and they were really so rude. By then I already cancelled my main entree coz I didn’t had cash. I told them see my purse don’t have any cash and I have dollars if u want. He was like u cannot exit from here if u don’t pay u better go out and get cash. Imagine that’s my day 1 in Berlin and I don’t speak German. It's not Mex, Tex or Tex Mex. Shame and false advertising!

When you see Tex Mex and people only talk about their burgers, you know something is incredibly wrong. The rice in the enchiladas was plain white, the meat had some German "Mexican" seasoning from Penny probably. It came with some kind of German mayo and lettuce salad... Not salsa and lettuce, not guac and lettuce, just plain old German salad.

The nachos are not nachos, they are tortilla chips. Someone needs to explain to Germans that just a little melted cheese on top doesn't make it nachos.

There was no salsa or spice anywhere to be seen, no life, no point. Tex Mex should mean a punch in the mouth with flavor, huge portions, and frozen margaritas......
