Very bad experience. For a so-called late-service restaurant, when we were arriving at 10pm, they were already closing. They forced us to sit at the table by the entrance. Everyone was packed in just one small corner of the restaurant. Then we ordered a small starter but we didn't have the time to enjoy it that they brought us our main course. I specifically asked sth not spicy at all because I am not allowed to eat anything spicy and yet, I couldn't take more than 2 bites out my meal. The waiters ignored us totally so I couldnt send back the plate or order sth else. Finally, when my partner finished his meal, someone came to clear the plates, merely asking how it was. I jumped on the occasion to say I was a bit disappointed and frustrated as I couldnt eat anything from my meal, as he could see by my full plate. The waiter laughed and said "yeah that's spicy" so I reminded him that I insisted on not having anything spicy, he just muttered sth while making a face, and walked away. Because I was still hungry, I asked to see the desserts and they refused, as the kitchen was closed. So all in one, service rude and incompetent, despicable setting on that night, and as for the food, I could hardly judge since I wasnt able to eat what was on my plate, as the waiter chose to ignore my medical condition. Will never go back there. And def don't...

I recently visited Mamay and was truly impressed by the experience. The place has a cozy, welcoming ambiance and stunning decor that adds to the charm, making it perfect for a relaxed meal. The service was excellent; the hosts were genuinely friendly and attentive, which added to the overall positive vibe.
Located conveniently by Schönehauser Allee Station, Mamay is easily accessible by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, and tram, which made getting there very easy.
For dinner, I ordered the Sum Tam Soup, a non-alcoholic ginger drink, and beef with rice. Each dish was flavorful, with portions that were more than satisfying. The food was delicious and didn’t break the bank, which made the meal even better.
Overall, Mamay is a fantastic spot for anyone craving great Asian cuisine in Berlin. I’m definitely looking forward to...

Already feeling a bit unfortunate before we tasted the food. The dishes we did receive... well... let me put it this way: Half way into dinner, my husband, who would eat anything with delight, asked with a troubled expression, "why would anyone cook something like this?!" 😅🤣 So in short, we are not planning to visit this restaurant...
