Avoid this restaurant - worst service ever. This restaurant only accepts card payments, but their POS system or card machine wasn’t working properly. I tried using three different cards, all of which failed for no reason, and they didn’t even explain why. My cards have never had issues anywhere else. In the end, I had to pay in cash, and they didn’t provide change. Instead, they asked me to go get change and even demanded that I leave my phone or ID as collateral, as if I was going to run away without paying. This was extremely insulting and unprofessional behavior from the staff. To make things worse, when it came time to pay, one server told me I had to wait for another server to complete the transaction. But the server who had originally taken my order had already left the restaurant. The server who eventually came didn’t even refer to my order and just entered an amount without showing me the bill. I trusted the restaurant, so I didn’t ask to verify the amount, but the whole experience felt like they were deliberately making things difficult for the customer. I’ve never encountered such rude and appalling service in any restaurant. The food was terrible as well. The kimchi pancake was burnt and not crispy at all, with a very poor texture. The beef soup was salty and greasy. It’s not worth the price.

I just remembered I was at this place a few years ago after a friend recommended it to me. I kind of wanted to end our relationship after I ate at this place because the recommendation was so insulting. This was Berlin Mitte so I already kind of expected a more modernized, less traditional restaurant, targeted for the younger and "hip" people of Berlin who have a bit more money to spend. Please don't be offended by this, you know it's just typical of that area in Berlin. The food was on the lower end of good if you know how authentic Korean food actually tastes like. The staff was lovely, but all I had to think about that day was the disappointing food. I don't believe they advertise their food as traditionally Korean in any way, so fair enough if you're satisfied with a different approach to Korean cuisine. Again, if you're into that, good for you, but I'd recommend just going to an authentic Korean restaurant, preferebly one not in Mitte where you'll be paying much for receiving less. The drinks were okay though, I guess.

Excuse me?! We were heading for dinner, but the moment we entered the restaurant we experienced a very cold and impersonal attitude from the designated waitor. He wouldn't sign us a table, so we had to wait for another 10 minutes untill another staff member saw the despera in our eyes and escorted us to one of many empty seats. When we settled we expected a kind and warm service, but nothing could be less true. He didn't even care to look at us, and acted unbothered and annoyed while we tried to order. We asked some things about the menu, and he looked at us as if we were stupid and dumb. When we asked if there was a possibility to switch to another more comfortable table he said it was not possible (no explanation); but a minute later two other strangers asked the same thing and got the table immediately. The food was delicious and I have nothing but lovely words for that and the made effort! After we finished dinner and made clear we wanted the check he ignored us for another fifteen minutes while chit chatting/ (flirting?!?!?!) with the table next to us. After years of waiting he finally throw the bill at our table and suddenly made some small talk, the reason for that was obvious when the conversation took the turn to him demanding a tip for the staff. We gave some tip, because of the good food; not the service. To us it came across as really inappropiate to press us into a position where you can't take no for an answer. Such ashame, what should have been a real nice experience, has been clouded over by some clown waiter, who shouldn't be in this establishment at all! So think twice, I would recommend you go to the Shiso burgers! Much...

I asked is it really name soup cause I really don’t understand what they served to people trying name it like BIG PORTION OF SOUP. She answered that it’s vegan. I asked for vegan mean nothing? Just water and few leaves of seaweed it’s ok? She begun scream on me that is was my choice Are you kidding me? First: who give you rights to scream at me? I am your client Second: how you in general can sell this name the soup? What is it? Maybe I am too far from Korean food to understand maybe it’s special leaves that on the brink of extinction? I am mad that I needed to pay for this(or maybe I am not so intelligent for understanding high kitchen) Also it was awful soup at...
