ברלין 4.2023, מסעדת Monsieur Vuong onsieur Vuong, מסייה המלך בתרגום חופשי. מסעדה ויאטנמית בליבה הפועם של ברלין. ליבה הפועם חברתית וקולינרית. בסצינת האוכל הרחבה של ברלין, הכוללת עירוב של מטבחי מהגרים ואוכל מקומי מנחם לא פחות, מצאנו את הויאטנמית המיוחדת הוז. יש הרבה המלצות על המסעדה. מדורגת גבוה בגוגל (4.5) וגם על ידי הרבה אנשים (5500). קראתי חוות דעת וקיבלתי המלצות. אז הלכנו. המלכה האם, 3 הטוענים לכתר ואנוכי. תכננו על ארוחת ערב ובנינו ציפיות. רציונ מאוד ערב נינוח, אווירה טובה, אוכל איכותי ושירות טוב. למרות שלא ניתן להזמין מקום במסעדה (כמה חבל. טעון שיפור), הצלחתי איכשהו לשכנע אותם. ההזמנה בוצעה לשעה 2100. אחרי תחבצ קטן והליכה זניחה, הגענו למקום. כמה לא מפתיע שהוא מלא. אבל בקטע טוב כמו שהבת שלי אומרת. המתנו דקות בודדות כדי שהשולחן יתפנה. קיבלנו שולחן במיקום מצויין, ליד החלון, בפינה, משקיף על כל המסעדה ומאפשר לחוש את האווירה. צד אחד ספסל לכיוון הקיר והצד השני של השולחן שרפרפים מעוצבים (הילדים ישבו עליהם). המוזיקה במסעדה הייתה נעימה ומתאימה לאווירה, הרעש ברמה טובה. מאפשר לדבר ומשתלב עם המוזיקה והריחות...אוייי כמה שהם הפעילו לנו את הבלוטות. חבל על הזמן. בקיצור trendy vibe. קיבלנו תפריטים ממלצרית נחמדה עם מראה אותנטי (כלומר ויאטנמי) עם אנגלית מצויינת. היה קשה מאוד לבחור מהתפריט. חלקו לא מוכר לנו וחלקו נשמע פשוט מצויין. אז בצעד חריג, שיכנעתי את יושבי השולחן לזרום ולתת למלצרית להפתיע. הנחיות בקווים כלליים (אוכלים הכל, חריפות מעודנת מספר מנות. מעבר לזה, זורמים). יצאנו לדרך. הזמנו שייק על בסיס מנגו. היה כל כך טעים שמייד הזמנו עוד אחד. היה בו מנגו, ג'ינג'ר טרי, מיץ תפוזים ונתז טוב של וודקה. הוא נקרא Crazy Yellow Dragon. ואז הגיעו המנות. מרכיבים טריים, אוכל פרשי ומרענן עם הרבה עשבי תיבול טריים, ריחות מעולים וקערת חריף אחת. לזכות המלצרית, אמרה שזה חריף. אבל לי התלבש על הכפית, קצת יותר מידי. אופסס, הזעתי קצת יותר מידי מהחריף שלהם. שיהיו בריאים האסיאתיי האלו. אכלנו מרק וואן טאן מעולה. עשוי טרי עם עשבי תיבול טריים, כוסברה בצל ירוק ותבלינים חמים. מנה נוספת הייתה חזה עוף בקארי. היא נקראת Cari Dau ויש בה קארי ירוק עם חזה עוף רך, שעועית אדמה ירוקה, חלב קוקוס, עשב לימון, בוטנים קלויים ועשבי תיבול טריים רבים על אורז יסמין. אני אוהב מאוד קארי, שאר החברה, מעט פחות ולכן פחות התלהבו מהמנה. מנה נוספת בשם Goi Mekong Bo Glass Noodle Salad הייתה מצויינת בזכות הבקר האיכותי והרוטב המדהים שלה. שילוב בין עשבי תיבול טריים, בקר צלוי טוב, טעמי מלוח, מתוק, חמוץ וחריף שמשתלבים נהדר אחד עם השני, יצרו איזון נעים מאוד בפה. היו עוד כמה מנות שפחות מוכרות לנו, אבל היו טעימות להפליא. הקינוחים שהזמנו לא היו משהו בכלל. קצת חבל. מצד שני, אולי הציפייה הייתה לסגנון מערבי ולא אסייאתי. לא נורא. לסיכום החווייה, בפעם הבאה בברלין, ללא ספק חוזרים לשם. ערב מהנה, מעורר חושים, טעים ומעשיר עם המשפחה. שילוב טעמים ואיזון מצויינים. מטבח עשיר מנחם ומשביע. רבים כמותו בברלין לאור מהגרים רבים מווייטנאם וסביבתה. ללא ספק, זו אחת הטובות. תודה רבה Monsieur Vuong

I was pleasantly surprised! It was my first time trying Vietnamese cuisine, and I liked it a lot. The pho soup looks simple, and it essentially is, but it was surprisingly satisfying, very delicate and balanced flavors, not easy to achieve. The spring rolls were tasty with depth in flavors. However! They served me with a bowl of chili liquid as if it was a soup, and didn't bother to warn me or mention how spicy it is, so I naturally assumed that I'm supposed to finish the whole bowl of chili with the soup, so I poured a lot of it into my pho bowl, and I almost head a heart attack! It was the most painful experience of spice I've had so far. I'm fine now, but I think that I've had some kind of intense spiritual rebirth after it. The pineapple cocktail is divine, and was a perfect end for this third-eye opening culinary experience.

Food was ok and served very fast but it was cold. I was very disappointed. It was my second time. Waitress were extremely indifferent and rude. It was not only for today. There were 2 waitress. when I asked about ingredients of the menu they didn’t explain to me. They just said it is a chicken option and left right away. They need to be mindful of their body language like attitude and tone of voice The customer next to me and a family were served very welcoming hospitality I didn’t expect high quality of service. Only time they spoke to me nicely was after swiping my card if I wanted to tip them. Anyway, I go to Vietnam regularly I love Vietnamese food, however, it was very a sad experience. I hope none of customer had the same experience like me

Mmmm!!! A weekly fix! So many delicious Vietnamese options in Berlin no doubt but there's something bout this place! The seating, the location, the lighting and of course the staff with their nonchalant faces lol. And their Pho... spectacular! Perfect mix of everything. Also, their daily dishes ooooooze with flavor. Not so fussed about the starters to be honest but if u fancy some greens, go for the Angus Salad. Caution: The large Pho bowl is HUGE! I'm not a fan of leaving food on/in my plate so be sure to check the portion out and order accordingly. #dontwastefood Lastly.. ask for some chilli oil and add it to everything! Ok now 'lastly'.. i promise.. Tiger Beer!!

always heard about this popular restaurant so decided to check it out today. it was very busy at 8pm so we had to wait for a bit to get a table. the service was quite sweet & friendly. as a vietnamese, the food was honestly quite average and expensive for the portion. at the end, my friends tipped the waiter quite a lot for their service already so i wasn‘t planning on adding more. however, she still added 0,50€ to my total without my permission & even tried to hide the screen from me. of course the few cents do not bother me, but it‘s really unacceptable that she just did it on her own. that left a bad taste in my mouth & needless to say, i won‘t be coming back.

We had a great dinner at this spot. The vibes were awesome and the staff was super friendly. We arrived around 6 on a Saturday and were seated surprisingly quickly as we assumed we would wait a little while. We ordered the Cha Gio (spring rolls), chicken green curry and the glass noodle salad with shrimp. The food came out very quickly which was great. The cha gio was a salty and the description said there was shrimp in it but I could only really taste the starch from the taro and the water chestnut. The green curry was quite good and the glass noodle salad was solid. Overall had a great experience here, the vibes are great and the food is solid.
