A hipsterish café in the fashion Kiez (neighbourhood) of Prenzlauer Berg. Mostly crowded, it offers diverse coffee specialities and some cakes/pies. The location is centrally and easy to find. The interior design stylish, minimalistic and partly professional. Staff (taking order) was very kind, talkative and attentive. Good approach towards the customer. Staff (to serve the order) was alright, just bit too serious (schade!). The coffee (double-espresso & cappuccino) tasted well and were not too bitter. Definitely worth trying! There was some water offered, to serve youself. Would be fantastic, if water is at least directly served when ordering an espresso. The prices are unfortunately too high!! Even though the coffee is outstanding, 2,60€ plus for a double-espresso is too much. Adding a cookie or likewise, could improve the value. Overall, a recommendable place to enjoy a coffee at, while visiting this Kiez. Btw,...

Very unfriendly and grumpy staff, boring atmosphere and totally overrated coffee in a nutshell.

A bad attitude completely overshadowed my experience as the staff working that day simply could not be bothered to create an easily achievable relaxed environment. With not a single other patron in the venue at the time, the hostile staff member denied my friend and I the request that we wanted to cut the cake we were sharing. When asked if she could help us with splitting the cake, she responded with 'No, we don't have a knife or any way to cut it.'

On top of the fact that there are no knives or cutting tools to be found here, there are also no toilets.

Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere for a coffee, there are tonnes of much better...

Was delighted to finally visit this location after being a fan of some of the geishas I have experienced in the past. This small shop with a very clean aesthetic provides a nice atmosphere to enjoy a properly extracted espresso and milk based beverage. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about coffee and are more than willing to give you recommendations of other places to try as well. During my visit they were awaiting a resupply of coffee so the options were limited. The flat white was made with the proper amount of microfoam. Overall it was good, a little to creamy for me, but still provided enough boldness to satisfy my tastes. Definitely recommend a visit here if you are looking for a...

m attaching two pictures of the cheesecake – one from 2021 and one from 2025 – so that new customers can see how the quality has changed over time. I understand that prices go up and shrinkflation is a reality, but this is just too much. Other well-known cafés in Berlin have raised their prices reasonably while maintaining portion sizes and quality. But here? €5.30 for a tiny slice of cheesecake? That’s not just unfair to new customers; it’s a slap in the face to loyal ones. I’m giving two stars because the taste is still good, but the price and portion size are completely unjustified. This cheesecake used to have distinct layers and a better texture. Now? Just disappointing. Not recommended.

Atmosphere was tight, as in claustrophobic. Not much space to sit/work or read. Everything is aesthetically pleasing in terms of design, but comfort is massively lacking. Baristas barely look at you, grunt rather than speak. That being said, the pastries and coffee were definitely “top” as my German friend put it. Delicious, sure, but crazy expensive. I pay $4 for a quad shot americano at a really really good local roaster back home in the states. Here it’s 4€ for two shots of espresso, no hot water or oat milk. So, for my trip I’m going to stick with going to coffee circle where they give 10% off with a membership and I know that my money is going to a good cause. :)
