Good fusion cuisine. Slow service. Reasonable prices.

I went with a Vietnamese-German friend. We went only once.

As an appetizer we shared spring rolls ("grandma Le's secret recipe" according to the menu). I found them good, my friend not so much. They were more deep-fried than I'm used to from the home-made Vietnamese spring rolls I've been eating lots of over the past 14 years. The deep-fried thing seems to be a Western preference, not much of a Vietnamese thing -- fusion cuisine, I guess.

We had to wait quite long for the (polite) waitress to place our orders. We thought we had been forgotten, since the restaurant was at no more than 20 % of its capacity and yet we waited for 20 mins. for her to show up again.

As a main course we had fried tofu with veggies (me) and grilled salmon with veggies (friend), both served with salad and rice.

The rice was good (yes, that's important). The salad was welcome, but is a rather Western thing to have on the plate of the main dish, I'd say (fusion cuisine, as I said).

I liked my tofu and veggies, while the sauce was a bit too sweet for my taste (not because it was done wrong, but because I made a dumb choice considering my disliking of sweet tastes).

I rated the whole dinner 3 out of 5 stars. Good fusion cuisine, for which, however, I don't have much of a taste.

My friend did not like her salmon. It was over-grilled and hence a little dry and really quite hard, in some small parts burnt black. Now, I like that, but my friend... she really doesn't. She liked her veggies.

She rated the whole dinner 2 out of 5 stars, though she does appreciate fusion cuisine.

I'm not planning to come back. Not because it's bad, but just because it's not for my.

DON'T WAIST YOUR TIME IN THIS PLACE!!!!! I went to eat today and ordered bo xao sa with beef, a dish that i had many many times before in other AUTHENTIC vietnamese restaurants, and what i ordered in Le & vi is DEFINITELY NOT IT !! Very gooey, thick and simply awful sauce, nonetheless COLD! The vegetable were raw and obviously not fresh. I absolutely couldn't put this "food" in my mouth. When i asked the waitress's assistant she was nice but offered absolutely no help or replacement, and told me my only option was to pack the food and take it to go !! She offered no replacement or any...

Lecker...aber trotzdem eine absolute Katastrophe. Um 20 Uhr sollte das Essen da sein. Um 20.30 Uhr kam das Essen, aber leider fehlte das bestellte Sushi-Gericht. Wir haben direkt wieder angerufen, es hieß das Sushu könnte in 30 Minuten geliefert werden - viel zu lange, der Rest hatte ja schon das Essen, zumal das Restaurant nur 15 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt liegt und das Sushi angeblich auch noch dort war. Die Erklärungen waren zahlreich: es gibt eine Demonstration (allerdings nicht auf der Strecke), es gibt nur einen Fahrer und der ist noch unterwegs, und und und. Schlussendlich sollten sie prüfen, ob jemand den Weg zu Fuß gehen und uns das Sushi bringen kann. Wir warten dazu auf Rückruf - der kam leider nicht. Wir rufen erneut an - es heißt es ist jemand unterwegs. Also warten wir wieder 15 Minuten - vergeblich - und rufen erneut an. Antwort wieder: Es ist jemand unterwegs. Wir fangen an uns zu fragen, ob diese Person den Weg kriecht oder das Sushi unterwegs erst noch zusammen bastelt und werden langsam sauer. Die Alternative: Geld zurück - könnten wir uns abholen (hat die Person nämlich nicht dabei) oder per PayPal (nein danke, mit der aktuellen Erfahrung haben wir das Geld dann in 3 Jahren auf dem Konto). Kulanz: Fehlanzeige, aber wir werden nochmal darauf hingewiesen, dass man uns ja schon bei der ursprünglichen Lieferung ein paar Krabbenchips umsonst mit dazu gegeben hat - ähm danke für die weise Voraussicht? In dem Moment klingelt es zum Glück und wir legen auf. Insgesamt also leider nur zu empfehlen, wenn man eine Telefonflatrate hat und viel Redebedarf, keinen Wert darauf legt zusammen zu essen und auch sonst am Abend nichts mehr vor hat. Achja und eins der anderen Essen war auch noch falsch, aber da haben wir schon gar nichts mehr zu gesagt - immerhin war es...
