To say it in advance: The Kachelhaus was not our first port of call on a Monday, but since the restaurant we had actually chosen was closed, our second choice was this establishment, which looks interesting from the outside. So my impressions may well be somewhat biased.
The interior is rustic. The dishes offered are varied, but with the restriction that some is only available in the afternoon / evening. So that it goes fast we have decided for two standard dishes. Spaghetti Bolognese, quite richly decorated with rocket. That was ok. Lentil soup with coconut milk. Unfortunately served lukewarm. The bottom of the soup plate was barely covered. On request to the, always friendly and quite fast waitress, there was then also a roll, cut up in the manner of a baguette. Unkindly arranged and with a taste similar to cardboard. The homemade lemonade is recommended. Refreshing and delicious.
Unfortunately, the washrooms were filthy and disgusting. It is a pity that there are guests who apparently did not have a good childhood. And also a pity that here is not controlled more often. An imposition.
The prices were reasonable for a lunch. The portions vary, as already mentioned.
There are better restaurants...

Food portions are big enough.
Falafel was crunchy and salad was fresh. Pasta Arrabbiata was good but it was too much oily for me. I mean literally at the end of the serving bowl, three to four spoons of oil significantly visible.
Tagliatelle was nice, but lacked little bit of seasoning.
