It was okay. The strawberry milkshake was very watery and tasted close to cough medicine. But the gelato was good on the cone. The staff didn't seem too friendly though. My husband ordered a milkshake and the guy said something and then just handed him the card machine. When we looked at the receipt afterwards he hadn't put the milkshake on. So my husband had to go stand in line again and order and this time the guy told him they were out of the flavor he wanted but was able to get a different flavor. I think the language barrier added to the situation but overall the guy was just rude and acted like he was annoyed to even be working.

We stopped by here briefly to grab a cup of coffee/hot chocolate and visit the restrooms (not necessarily in that order...) The three of us sat in the corner at the front next to the large counter selling delicious ice cream. Our waiter was very busy but served us with a smile. In fact, from out vantage point we could do some great people watching as the tourists flocked by and in to this place ad infinitum. All was good, including the modern and clean restrooms towards the back of this establishment. Being paying customers we didn't have to pay the extra 1€ to visit them!

Nice place to pop in for a quick ice cream or a quick break after you’ve seen the dom 😇 Since I visited this cafe in the summer, there were loads of options for ice cream, although a Bit pricey because of the location the generous portion more than makes up for it. I had the classic Apfel Strudel drizzled with vanilla cream and cinnamon, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side, while my friend had the tiramisu ice cream. Both were delicious and we had a great time.

Unbelievably rude staff. We went there 2 days ago and ordered a tea and coffee. The minute the waitress heard us speak in english, her attitude to us changed, ignoring us and attending other customers first. We were served our drinks but had no spoons to stir the sugar. On approaching the counter i was again ignored by 2 other members of staff behind the counter. I just helped myself in the end. Obviously you need a sour face to work here. My wife wanted breakfast here this morning so we did revisit. A new male waiter served us, and only brought one knife to our table between two of us, having already been in this situation with the spoons 2 days ago, i just helped myself from the counter to another knife. The chef actually brought our breakfast not the waiter. When we were finished and i asked for the bill, we had to wait while other tables were served first. Then the confrontation started between the waiter and myself. I was paying by card. My card has contactless payments. I never saw the amount on the screen, and the waiter never asked me if he could use that method, he snatched my card from me and took contactless payment. An arguement followed as if he had the right to take payment with that method. Such a rude and nasty...

Well, I was there once and a Brazilian girl was so kind with us, so lovely. I ordered two ice creams, and she recommended delicious flavours. I was living in japan and I'm used to eating ice cream sitting on the table, so I bought the ice cream and sat on the table in front of the shop. I was talking to my husband to ask for menu to order some dishes due to the lovely Brazilian girl who attended us, when I was looking for someone to ask for menu, a very rude person (with black beard , with strong accent) told us: hallo, hey you both cannot stay here, you have to go, take the ice cream and go . I felt so bad about that. and I just said okay sorry. He could just advise us that there was not allowed to sit because we had just ordered ice cream, kindly. But he was totally stupid and I didn't want to ask for the menu to him, so my husband and I went to the order place to eat. He was very stupid. I give 5 stars for the Brazilian girl and 0 for that stupid person. I believe that empathy and respect is the most important thing that a restaurant staffs...
