Peter's Brauhaus in Köln offers an exceptional dining experience that I can't praise enough. Their steaks are simply outstanding, cooked to perfection, and bursting with flavor. The quality of their meat is top-notch, making each bite a delight. The fried lamb at Peter's Brauhaus is a true culinary masterpiece. The crispiness of the outer layer perfectly complements the tender and juicy lamb inside. It's a dish that tantalizes the taste buds and leaves you craving for more. But the real star of the show for me was the lamb steak. It's a testament to their skill in preparing meat dishes. The lamb steak was cooked to a precise medium-rare, ensuring it remained succulent and full of savory goodness. The accompanying sides and sauces complemented the dish brilliantly. The atmosphere at Peter's Brauhaus adds to the overall experience, with its cozy and welcoming ambiance. The staff is attentive and friendly, making you feel right at home. In conclusion, if you're a fan of steaks, fried lamb, or lamb steak, Peter's Brauhaus in Köln is a must-visit. Their culinary expertise and dedication to quality shine through in every dish, making it a dining destination that consistently delivers excellence.

I was told to visit this brauhaus on recommendation from a family member who had been various times before...and I wasn't to be disappointed! I decided to have the meatloaf from the lunch menú (€9.80) which came with gravy, red cabbage with apple and boiled potatoes. It was perfect...the generous gravy coated slices of pork meatloaf were full of flavour (I could of eaten another slice!), the red cabbage was perfectly cooked, not too sweet and not too sharp. The boiled potatoes not too hard and had a lovely creamy texture and flavour to them...and the gravy completed the dish, it worked very well with all the components of the dish. Spot on! So, if you enjoy a Kölsch and German pub grub, then definitely check this place out! The waiter was very friendly and engaged in conversation with us more than once, while also providing quality customer service! It has a lovely beerhouse interior, too. Easy 5 stars.

Went in around 3.45pm for late lunch. 1 of the tall looking young staff walked us to a small table.. I asked if I m allowed to place my bags on the chair beside our dining table and also if merge the 2 table tgt (because we are sitting on single small table). Because of the 1.5m distance sitting we pull the table beside us. And restaurant were not even 10% full. However 10min later another old looking fat waiter walk pass came to ask me to put my handbag on the floor and split my table beside.. WTH is covid my crossbag on the oily dusty floor?? Food generally is nice. Cost is a bit more expensive than other places and place is a bit dim too. anyway... Due to the service attitude I got from the fat old waiter I think this ambience were ruined so can only gave a 2 stars. I have lots of cash in my handbag that day, what if ppl pick n leave? Are they restaurant going to be compensate me? That tall younger waiter was ok n looked guilty cos he allowed us when we asked if we can pull the other table to make it more spare space for our foods n dessert. The table is extremely small for us. But we are tourist from SG perhaps the far old waiter dislike Asian?? I think the old man also lecture the taller waiter.. It's like no body eating. The place is damn full of empty seat? And the small table beside us is only 30cm away...

The food was good as well as the beer but I was very disappointed with customer service and the general atmosphere of the place. Although we were seated and served quickly, and noting that I understand how important is the speediness of service in Cologne, we were seated in a big table with strangers seating across. At first it was ok but after a few minutes some other strangers were seated next to us. These new guests were rude and were coughing all over the cutlery and us without bothering to use their arms as shields. We asked to change seats as we spotted a table for two being freed up but we were dismissed multiple times. We didn't even have the right amount of cutlery even though we didn't attempt to eat with the infected ones available. I tried some Bratkartoffeln and they were ok.

Had dinner at Peter’s Brauhaus and it was the best meal and dining experience we have had in Germany after being here for a week. The waiter was very attentive to us and was approachable for anything we needed including ordering more drinks and asking for the bill. Also very accommodating for us speaking in English! I had the vegetarian rösti and it was delicious. Very happy to have a veggie option! They also have a vegan meal. We arrived at 6pm which was a good time to beat the rush. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant was very German and cosy. Neither of us are beer drinkers, but was great to enjoy a small 200ml to complete the “German experience” without needing to get a large glass. Highly recommend!

The old vibe of the restaurant was great. But that is the only thing. The old guy waiter was very slow and rude, unfortunately. Food was not the worst, but way too salty. The Goulash was inedible it was so salty. It also took five minutes to get a refill on beer and the Kolsch beers are quite small and flat taste like they’d been sitting around for a while. It was also not busy so not sure the reason why it took so long. The most insulting thing is that the waiter had the audacity to ask for a tip after giving terrible service. He’s clearly trying to take advantage of foreign customers who don’t know the system in Germany. There are many other better options so avoid this one at all costs.
