Went in around 3.45pm for late lunch. 1 of the tall looking young staff walked us to a small table.. I asked if I m allowed to place my bags on the chair beside our dining table and also if merge the 2 table tgt (because we are sitting on single small table). Because of the 1.5m distance sitting we pull the table beside us. And restaurant were not even 10% full. However 10min later another old looking fat waiter walk pass came to ask me to put my handbag on the floor and split my table beside.. WTH is covid my crossbag on the oily dusty floor?? Food generally is nice. Cost is a bit more expensive than other places and place is a bit dim too. anyway... Due to the service attitude I got from the fat old waiter I think this ambience were ruined so can only gave a 2 stars. I have lots of cash in my handbag that day, what if ppl pick n leave? Are they restaurant going to be compensate me? That tall younger waiter was ok n looked guilty cos he allowed us when we asked if we can pull the other table to make it more spare space for our foods n dessert. The table is extremely small for us. But we are tourist from SG perhaps the far old waiter dislike Asian?? I think the old man also lecture the taller waiter.. It's like no body eating. The place is damn full of empty seat? And the small table beside us is only 30cm away...

Peter's Brauhaus in Köln offers an exceptional dining experience that I can't praise enough. Their steaks are simply outstanding, cooked to perfection, and bursting with flavor. The quality of their meat is top-notch, making each bite a delight. The fried lamb at Peter's Brauhaus is a true culinary masterpiece. The crispiness of the outer layer perfectly complements the tender and juicy lamb inside. It's a dish that tantalizes the taste buds and leaves you craving for more. But the real star of the show for me was the lamb steak. It's a testament to their skill in preparing meat dishes. The lamb steak was cooked to a precise medium-rare, ensuring it remained succulent and full of savory goodness. The accompanying sides and sauces complemented the dish brilliantly. The atmosphere at Peter's Brauhaus adds to the overall experience, with its cozy and welcoming ambiance. The staff is attentive and friendly, making you feel right at home. In conclusion, if you're a fan of steaks, fried lamb, or lamb steak, Peter's Brauhaus in Köln is a must-visit. Their culinary expertise and dedication to quality shine through in every dish, making it a dining destination that consistently delivers excellence.

Enter at your own peril! Extremely rude staff who was more likely to be the manager as he was not dressed like the waitress and waiters. So we showed up in this place and waited to be seated. The manager asked us if we only wanted to drink but I said we're there for the food. He had acknowledged this and without saying a word, walked away. In that moment it only felt right to follow him as he was headed to a clean table. He turned around and was shocked that I followed him and with a loud voice said something like "I did not tell you to follow me.....NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!" My german isnt that good and yes he said NO 7 times. Everyone turned their heads towards us. We were so embarrassed and returned back to the waiting area.If only we weren't desperate to use the loo and no train to catch ,we would have walked away!!!. He honestly could have told us in a nice way as clearly it was a silly mistake but nope decided to shout at us like children. The food was decent but definitely could have gotten them somewhere else. The waitress and waiters were ok. So my advice is to listen to the bad reviews, We wished we did!

We had a very disappointing experience at Peters Brauhaus. Even though we had a reservation and arrived on time, we were left waiting in line, and when we asked about it, the staff responded rudely and finally gave us a table with a very bad attitude. Throughout the evening, the service was consistently unfriendly and hostile.

The food itself was not terrible, but certainly not memorable either. Every time we wanted to order something additional, the staff ignored us or made unpleasant faces, which would be understandable if the restaurant had been full – but it wasn’t.

When we finished our meal, the waiter asked if we were done, and after we said yes, he only cleared part of the table before walking away to serve others. Nearly 20 minutes later, we had to stand up and go ask for the bill ourselves.

To make things worse, when bringing the check, the waiter insisted that the tip was mandatory, which is simply not true in Germany. After refusing, he continued to argue, suggesting that tipping is “almost obligatory” and even asked if it was our first time in a restaurant. This was completely disrespectful and unprofessional.

Overall, the poor service and rude treatment ruined what could have been a nice experience. I would not...

Our first experience here was good. Our server Andreas couldn't have been better, he was fun, engaging, energetic and on top of everything and the food was good. Sadly to say when we went back for a second time we were very, very disappointed. It started when we arrived, it was a hot evening and we wanted to sit next to a window. The bar area with the windows was empty, there was no one sitting where we wanted to sit and the manager said it was all reserved (I didn't see reserved signs anywhere) so we sat where he wanted us to sit. After a few minutes we noticed a couple sitting where we wanted to sit near the window. Our server was doing his best but was overwhelmed with the number of tables he had. He was quick with the beers, but that was all. After a bit of time we ordered our food with a few exceptions, no green onions on anything and a salad instead of veggies. When we received our food it had green onions all over it and no salad. My meal was overly salty, not what I was expecting. We ate most of our food cause we were hungry and asked our server for the check. Ten minutes later and after asking a couple of times, he shows up to settle the bill and has the nerve to ask for a tip for excellent service! You...
