I recently had the pleasure of dining at the most exquisite Vietnamese restaurant in Cologne, Germany, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. Without a doubt, this gem stands out as the best Vietnamese restaurant in the entire country. The moment we stepped in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor beautifully blends traditional Vietnamese elements with a modern touch, creating a cozy yet sophisticated ambiance. Now, let's talk about the food – simply phenomenal! Every dish we tried was a delightful explosion of flavors. The pho was incredibly aromatic, with a rich broth that tasted like it had been simmering for hours. The spring rolls were crispy and fresh, and the banh mi was the perfect balance of savory and tangy. Each plate was a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to authentic Vietnamese cuisine. But what truly elevated our dining experience was the exceptional service. Our waitress, a charming young lady with boundless energy, provided exemplary service throughout the evening. Her enthusiasm and genuine passion for her job were evident in every interaction. She was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and her recommendations were spot-on. Her positive energy was contagious and added a special touch to our meal.In conclusion, this Vietnamese restaurant in Cologne is an absolute must-visit. The food is nothing short of delicious, the ambiance is perfect, and the service is unparalleled. If you're in Germany and looking for an outstanding culinary experience, look no further. This restaurant has set the bar incredibly high, and I can't...
Read moreJust stopping by to check out Koln (Cologne) famous Cathedral and it just so happened it’s carnival parade. 12Feb24. We were hungry and my son was feeling Thai food. We’re visiting from Spain. Through the crazy crowd, we thought this place was impossible to find, good thing we were determined. Found it fairly easy. Front display was cute and the decoration inside was very authentic and cute. Server was very friendly and spoke English well. Menu was in German and English. Food was delicious and tasty, better then most Thai/Viet restaurants in the States, definitely better than the ones in Spain. Food made to order came in super fast. We ordered Pad Thai, Pho, Tom Yum, Panage, passionfruit tea, pomegranate tea and Viet coffee, totaling up to 55€. It just so happens that they only take cash that day. I had 42€ cash on me, but they found a way for us to pay the remaining 13€. They were very accommodating and understanding bc all the street closures that we can’t find an ATM. I highly recommend this place. Overall experience here is worth visiting over...
Read moreThis place is a wonderful hidden gem! We were searching around for some lunch and turned down a side street and came across this place. It's close to the cathedral, but not along the main stores or restaurants. Despite being a small place, they fit a lot of seats, and when we first entered there were only a few tables, but when we left, almost the whole place was full. I noticed they also received a lot of take out orders. The service was friendly, spoke a little bit of English. The menu was in both English and German. The food came out quickly and the portion size was rather large. I got a mixed plate that included noodles, chicken, fried tofu, these beef wrapped skewers, and a salad. It filled me up and tasted delicious! The restaurant is filled with fun decorations that make you feel like you're somewhere else. It's cash only, so be prepared for that, but prices are very reasonable, especially for being in a touristy area. I would...
