Hot Shüzzle — Restaurant in Dresden

I had high hopes for this place but alas I was very underwhelmed with the food.

I had a Massaman Curry with Tofu and the portion was so small for the price (€9.20) and the curry was very thin and too sweet, not at all like I know from Thailand. The potatoes were also undercooked. Maybe the other dishes are alright but not a good first impression. One great part though was at least it was quite spicy! It’s hard to find proper spicy food in Germany!

That said, considering there are literally NO other thai restaurants in Dresden - it’s certainly still a great effort, and the service is very welcoming...

This is a perfect little restaurant. Authentic, proper Thai food. They have a menu of 9-10 dishes, and every day he has just 3 of them to choose from. To pay, only cash.

They all come with rice and are around 8-9€. And they taste like Thailand! Even a bit spicy.

Plus the chef is super charismatic, welcoming and nice. He didn't have any chicken left and he gave us extra rice and an extra portion of food. A living legend!

Hatte nach einem authentischen Thai gesucht und bin auf dieses kleine Restaurant/Imbiss gestoßen. Unglaublich sympathischer Besitzer. Er ist ganz alleine und macht einen tollen Job. Ein so herzensguter Mensch, mit immer einem Lächeln im Gesicht. Durch meinen Beruf reise ich sehr viel und koche auch gerne Thai, daher kenne ich die meisten Gerichte sehr gut. Mit diesem tollen Laden habe ich zum ersten Mal wirklich authentisches Thai gefunden. Wir waren wirklich begeistert. Der Geschmack war einfach wie in Thailand. Da der Besitzer immer alleine ist, gibt es nur drei Gerichte am Tag die frisch zubereitet werden. Wenn eines ausverkauft ist, dann ist es auch weg. Ich weiß nicht genau, ob nachgekocht wird, oder ob dann nur die zwei anderen Gerichte angeboten werden. Es lohnt sich dieses kleine Restaurant zu besuchen.
