Absolute joke of an establishment. Our waitress was extremely rude and didn’t want to pay any attention to us. Our waitress seemed to be very attentive to the local customers but maybe because we were foreigners she didn’t care to give us good service.

We waited an hour for our food after ordering and still didn’t get the food! Asked for our food in takeaway boxes and still nothing… ended up leaving without the food and zero apologies from any of the staff for such abysmal, pathetic customer service. Not to mention, the place was not busy in the slightest. We were the only group inside the place so no excuses.

Don’t bother with this place.

You walk in and immediately love the ambience of the place. Books lining the walls, comfortable homely couches.

Unfortunately that was it for us the day my friend and I visited. I had the ginger-lime "home made” lemonade which tasted nothing close to homemade. Had a very artificial lime flavour and nothing that tasted like ginger. It looked good but it tasted like a vitamin c drink. The waiter offered to change it so I opted for a strawberry mint lemonade thinkimg that would be made from regional ingredients. It unfortunately tasted just as artificial leaving a hanging sickly sweet aftertaste like chewing gum. This time when I asked what the ingredients were - strawberry syrup. Leider stimmt bei diesem Bistro das Gesamtkonzept ganz und gar nicht. Die Lage ist super, man hat keinen Mangel an Kundschaft und genau das ist wahrscheinlich das Hauptproblem für den Gast. Von Anfang an wurde einem das Gefühl vermittelt, dass man stört bzw. der Bedienung einfach zuviel ist und sich dafür entschuldigen muss, dass man Platz genommen hat. Freundlichkeit und fachliche Kompetenz ist hier leider nicht zu finden. Ja, auch wenn man eine Maske trägt, merkt der Kunde, ob man lächelt oder einfach nur genervt ist. Dies sollte man Fräulein B., welche uns an diesem Tag mit einem anderen Kollegen bedient hat (der ebenfalls nicht besser war), einmal näher bringen. Der Tisch wurde nicht gereinigt und die großen laminierten Speise- und Getränkekarten waren ebenfalls klebrig. Dies geht meiner Meinung nach in einer gastronomischen Einrichtung absolut nicht. Auch am Nachbartisch musste die Kundschaft, als gefragt worden ist, was man denn bestellen möchte, erst einmal darum bitten, dass der Tisch bitte zuerst gereinigt wird. Die Speisen sahen appetitlich aus und waren schön auf den Tellern angerichtet. Auch war der Geschmack absolut in Ordnung. Das Besteck wurde uns allerdings mehr oder weniger auf den Tisch "geklatscht". Es ist wirklich schade, wenn der Ruf des Lokals am Personal scheitert, zumal dieses laut Kassenbon zum Hilton gehört. Hier ist das aber wahrscheinlich nicht von großem Interesse - da wie schon erwähnt - immer touristische Kundschaft vorhanden ist und die bisherigen Rezensionen zu keiner Verbesserung der Servicequaltät...
