Unfriendly place for dogs. Food is of average quality. Terrible staff that yells at customers. Great location. I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant, despite its great location. I strongly advise against bringing your pets here. Let me explain what happened: my little lapdog was with me, and I sat him on a chair. The waiter who took our order saw him and said nothing, but when the food was served by another staff member, he began shouting loudly across the terrace: 'No dog! No dog!' I think it would have been more appropriate to ask me politely to remove the dog from the chair, instead of creating a scene and shouting at the customers. Is this normal practice at this establishment?
I calmly removed my dog from the chair, but my mood was already ruined by the unpleasant incident. The food and drinks were mediocre at best, and the prices were quite high. Read moreGreat choice for a dinner while visiting Dresden. Right by the Fraenkirche, so you going to have a beautiful view. We opted to sit on the terrace on the second floor, and I think it was the best choice. It's less crowded, than first floor terrace, and you can you have a better view, without being on a display yourself. Of course we ordered the cheese fondue, and a Flamekuche. Both dishes were very good. There are a lot of food intended for dipping that comes with fondue. We were not able to finish it all. So I would say a fondue is good for up to 4-5 people. The service was good and friendly. The restaurant looks cute with all the little details in the interior. I can see how nice and cozy it would be to eat here in winter. So, yes, definitely...

it is located just infront of the church and old ruins. great selection of food for breakfast, lunch / dinner, snacks.
had the creamed cheese soup and orange and ginger ale for lunch. soup was served hot and it was indeed creamy and tasty.
the restaurant has great atmosphere both indoor and outdoor. toilet was also very clean (one of the best toilet in Europe as far as I could remember while on a 22 days tour in Europe).
the restaurant takes pride of its product / quality food and they are served aesthetically (they all look pretty).
