Service: I (1 pax) arrived at 2:15pm, end of lunch hour, lunch guests are ending off their meals. But I couldn’t choose the desired shaded alfresco seats as those are meant for more pax. Even though when I left at 3:15pm the place was very empty and it will be some time before dinner crowd comes.

Eventually seated at a small table by the window - there had been no tableware set out prior to my seating, only a napkin and pair of fork/knife, presumably left behind (unused hopefully) by previous table-occupier.

I was seated for quite some time without being attended to or given a menu. I started to trying to catch the eyes of waiters before one of them came with a menu. I ordered a Best of Beef pasta and an apple juice. There was no replenishing of new utensils; the waiter repositioned the leftover utensils on the table for me. The fork and knife seemed clean and unused so I didn’t make noise. The napkin looks a bit stained. As it is hard to capture any waiter’s attention, I used my own tissue.

Food: At 28.50euros, it’s on the slightly pricier end of the menu options, I expected a tasty pasta from the raving reviews seen here. Verdict - it was of uneven quality, bordering acceptable overall. The beef (the “best of”, so I expected a delicious one) was dry, tough and nothing short of overcooked. The ravioli, while tasty, had a few pieces with the outer edges (where the “dough” is, the part without filling) are undoubtedly undercooked. There are just two pieces of the tomatoes. Disappointing dish for the price and...

A truly unforgettable experience. While looking for a good place to eat this one has stood out since the beginning. I must say, usually I write reviews a few days later but today I simply can not wait. Me and my friends were also in such a hurry to make it on time for our trip's meet-up point that we simply forgot to leave a tip, so that is the least I can do. Let's start with the atmosphere- amazingly authentic. It feels like you enter an old, quaint Italian restaurant in Italy, and honestly, that's exactly what you are doing except it's in Dresden. It's cozy lit, just the perfect amount to make you feel snug and comfy. The staff- the best I've met in a while. Nice and kind people willing to explain everything and answer all of your questions. There is absolutely nothing that could make me complain. The food- outstanding. This is easily the best pasta I have had outside of Italy and I can safely say that if I lived in Dresden I would eat there very often. Ingredients are extremely good quality and their pasta is perfect in every way. The dishes are very creative, not something you can find everywhere else yet they keep the traditional idea behind the Italian cooking. You can tell these people do it full of passion. To sum up, if you are a food enthusiast this place is a must. Especially if you are looking for something special. I am already thinking of planning a trip that would include Dresden so I could dine here again and see everything I couldn't this time. Thank you for this unforgettable...

I arrived with a colleague around 8 pm without a reservation and was given a small table next to the pasta-making station, despite there being plenty of available seating outside. We were provided with menus, but ordering took longer than expected, and we had to press the service light on the table to get assistance.

We ordered two glasses of wine, Parma ham with buffalo mozzarella, and spaghetti mare nero with squid ink. The wine took longer to arrive than expected, considering it didn’t need cooking. Despite many waiters bustling around, the food also took a while to be served. The mozzarella was too dry for my liking, and the spaghetti lacked umami, tasting mostly of salt and pepper with little seafood flavor.

When we ordered a second round of wine, there was confusion; two waiters asked us what wine we wanted, despite our previous order being in the system. For dessert, we ordered tiramisu, which tasted overly sugary and lacked the typical alcohol flavor. It also took another 10 minutes to arrive, and we had to remind the staff. The manager eventually brought it to us promptly.

Later, when we asked to move outside around 10 pm, one waiter told us to ask another for permission, even though the area was empty. The main issues seemed to be with the restaurant's system or the waiters’ attitudes, falling short of the five-star ratings it...
