If you have a bit dark skin, they won't let you in. Normally we go out with our female friends and they were ready to let them in but not us. They gave no reason at first and then later said that we are so many men. We then stood outside for a while and they let other 5 non brown skinned colour people in. Plus the checking of ids didn't make sense either.

Well, I haven't used the 'R' word ever.. but if you think there is a racist place that exist in 2019 it's right in a major city of the Europe's biggest economy...here are some pictures of the most of most advanced and fittest people in the world than can deny entry based on the colour or cleavage..

Racist door policy. We were two couples, well dressed for the occasion. The bouncer at door gave us a glance and denied entry. And at the same time let other white guests enter. Right in front of our face. If you are a Caucasian origin, you might want to fight against racism by not going to this place. Attaching also the pic of the guy who was at the door and was absolutely racist.

Has gone downhill since last year. There was a really sweet dancer there last year with a a long blonde ponytail and a large tattoo on her leg (not the skinny one there now with no leg tattoo). She had a great personality and really entertained with her dancing, having fun and reacting to her audience. I tipped her well and hoped to see her again on this vacation, but she wasn’t there. Maybe better for her. Now there are still some nice servers, but some of the dancers are aloof and won’t even accept tips, or they ask for paper money (I was trying to give 2€ coins). I guess they dance tables for their art and get insulted by tourists who try to give them tips. One was appreciative, so not all bad. Maybe they’re holding out for one of the guys around here who parks his Ferrari on Königsallee.

Contrary to other reviews, I did not see any racism in the bouncers, and in fact their races are mixed, some white, some possibly Turk. I can believe they'd be dumb enough to go along with it though. One guy seemed aggressive towards me for no reason I could tell, walking right up to me several times, making eye contact, and then turning around and marching back the opposite direction, as if challenging me. Not sure what that was about. Maybe self-conscious because I was bigger? Did he want me to show submission? Who knows. I left before it became an issue, because I was done with the place.

Bartenders and servers are pretty professional and appreciate tips. Be sure to tip Johnny at the restroom. He’s a nice guy from Ghana and so I gave him 50€ tip because he has a family, and he was honest and kind with my drunk self. Maybe I’ll check back next time I’m in town, but I won’t waste my time on tipping dancers. No one else did anyway. I will say it gets pretty crowded on Saturday nights by around 21:00. People are mostly having a good time on the dance floor. Just don’t expect anything special if you’re over 30.

Edit: After thinking more about my experiences and reading more reviews of this place, I get more disgusted. I'm American, but I look German, so I got in. Those bouncers need to go. I've got a mind to go back there with some US military buddies to see if those bouncers will put up or shut up. With all their stupid hard looks and arrogance, they're looking to FAFO. By the way, for bouncers, they're not very big or tough at all. You can smell the insecurity and false bravado on them like the bad guys in some cheesy 1980s movies. Here in the US, the bouncers at any serious place are all at least 6'5 and built like prisoners, or they're former or active duty cops. KS bouncers are a joke, except maybe one black guy with a shaved head and no facial hair who was actually ok (not the Turk with the beard... he's just tubby and thinks it's muscle). Anyway, a cooler head will prevail, and I'll just take my American tourist money somewhere...

My friend and I got denied entry by the bouncer. We're two guys in our twenties and take good care of our appearance and we weren't drunk or acted as such.

My friend observed that a lot of older looking men of European ancestry were all allowed in before and after us, so he joked that they were probably racist because he himself is darker of skin (even though he is of European ancestry) and I am of asian ancestry. I usually don't like to jump to conclusions like that, but most of the reviews seem to support that this club, or at least their bouncers appear to indeed reject people based on darker skin colour.

The person in charge of their account seems to try to defend their behaviour on every single comment and they might address this comment as well. Take a look at other experiences reported here (and on Trip Advisor) and decide for yourself whether you want to support such behaviour.

I suggest for all readers of this review to line up there en masse so I can be proven wrong. Hopefully I'm terribly mistaken about the situation, but again, the other reviews can't all be coincidence.

Edit: As is their habit with any other review, their account replied with a rather empty defence and narrative on why they don't deserve to be called racist based on them also rejecting "European-looking and German-looking"-people. I am European, I was born and raised in Europe. When you go through their videos or posts about their venue on social media, look at the diversity in the crowd. If every single post is indeed a coincidence, I admit defeat, but the sheer volume is telling.

Edit 2: I admit to my use of incorrect and obsolete terminology. Thank you for pointing that out. I changed it accordingly. Any other points...

If I could give a big fat 0 I would. Extremely RACIST. & ruined our night/experience. First time out of the country and we’ve been nothing but respectful and open minded of German culture. If you’re white and go to this place you’re promoting/agreeing with this racism. Don’t waste your money. They won’t give a reason but it was extremely obvious. A bunch of us were here for Invictus Games. Invictus was over for some of us and wanted to celebrate. America is filled with many different cultures. Some of us can fit right in here. My husband who is a black male wasn’t let in and waved my mom and I to come in but shook my head and pointed he is with me. Then denied all of us. I originally thought maybe it’s because he’s a male. So we stepped to the side and watched white males (with similar clothing so it wasn’t a dress code thing) go right in. The bouncers were extremely rude and didn’t give an explanation. Very culturally insensitive. If you’re an American, and/or a black male or female be careful in Düsseldorf you will get denied service for discrimination. I understand there may be culture differences. But stay away from this place and be aware this WILL happen. Sad the world is...
