MAITAI Cocktailbar — Restaurant in Dusseldorf

Worst service ever, even though the drinks were good. We were a group of 15 people, the only ones in the bar. Outside there were some other customers on the terrace. We asked to change the music, but it was declined. We did not want extra volume, as the bartender explained there was a hotel upstairs. We just wanted something dofferent then raeggeton. We wanted to order 2 drinks at 00:05, vut they refused, even though the closing hours were 01:00. We wanted to pay by card but it was not accepted l, because there was an announcement on the door "just" for that particular day card payment is bot working. They could have told us during the night while drinking. And on top, both bartender and waiter became angry and rude when asking about card payment with their "30 years" experience in the business. Cocktails are decent, except the Pornstar Martini.. that one does not taste or look the way it should. The music is nice and the place looks nice. This place is amazing! Second time here on seperate weekends. Huge menu of cocktails at decent prices, generous measurements. What's not to love? Waitress is lovely and brings out a little bowl of snacks and plays the footy. Happy hour makes the cocktails very cheap!!
