Wir waren auf Empfehlung das erste mal dort. Das Scannen & Bezahlen System fand ich echt klasse 👍Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und auch die Barkeeper waren super Sympathisch. Da aber meine Kernkompetenz beim Whisky liegt muss ich sagen, verdammt gute Auswahl 👌 Meine Frau trinkt keinen Alkohol also kann ich noch die Alkoholfreien Cocktail's loben, die waren auch sau lecker 😋 Leider ist ja die Temperatur gut gesunken, von daher hat meine Frau innerlich gefroren und leider trinkt sie auch keinen Kaffee der sie Aufwährmen könnte 🙊 aber auf Nachfrage haben dir Ihr sogar einen Tee gebracht der nicht auf der Karte steht (das nenne ich Hervorragenden Service) am liebsten würde ich hier 6 Sterne geben.

One of my favorite places in Düsseldorf. The upstairs area is really cozy with lots of candles. Perfect for a romantic date over a glass of unique beer or cocktail. They always have specials too. One of the rare places in Düsseldorf old town where locals go.

Gemütliche Bar mit raffinierten Cocktails. Von außen Recht unscheinbar wurden wir positiv vom angenehmen Ambiente und ausgefeilten Cocktails überrascht. Nach alles in allem über 20 probierten Cocktails kann man sagen das durch die Bank alles gut gemischt und kombiniert ist. Für 11 bis 14€ kriegt man zwar eher kleine aber qualitativ hochwertige Getränke, preislich also absolut angebracht. Der Außenbereich vor der Tür ist Recht klein und laut auf Grund der Altstadt, innen ist es gemütlich verwinkelt. Der Service ist schnell und freundlich, das Bestellen über einen QR Code funktioniert ohne Probleme. Wer in der Altstadt ein hochwertiges Getränk sucht wird hier sehr zufrieden sein.

Kind of new place right next to the O'Reilly's (which is my absolute favorite Pub, by the way). The staff is super welcoming and friendly (and a little crazy, too). The Oak's has an amazing offer of classic drinks and cocktails, as well as Whiskeys and Gins. The atmosphere is unique, comfy and lively. This bar has definitely a lot of potential!

I took away one star, because our drinks took quite long and the seating was slightly difficult (always leave some space to improve, right?)

Amazing little gem in the Düsseldorf Altstadt, with most polite and friendly staff ever, delicious cocktails, and reasonable prices! Make sure you ask staff for drink recommendations, they will be happy to help you out! We even got a couple of delicious shots on house, which really blew my mind, because I never got such a thing in Düsseldorf. Possible to pay with card as well. It lives up to its name - this is a true bar. There are different areas, you can sit right at the bar, in the back, or go upstairs and enjoy the quiet near the fireplace. Once seated, take your time to discover the menu, because there is a variety of drinks to choose from, all of them having unique flavors.
