Location is great during the day - close to the main train station and not much of a walk to the main activities of Frankfurt city. At night time however, be prepared for seeing a lot of activity in the area - drugs, people lying on the ground etc.
The hotel seems to have a few sex workers based there. They didn’t bother me at all but a heads up if you’re a bit prudish or have children with you.
The worst part is the rooms themselves - beds, pillows and showers. The beds are two singles pushed together - common in Europe so not an issue. But they are so soft and worn that if you roll onto the side you almost roll off the bed. And the follows are big square soft things without any substance that give no neck support. I asked for a firmer pillow but the reception said they only have one type of pillow. They don’t clean under the beds often either, dusty and cigarette packet under there.
Shower itself was fine - good overhead rainfall shower. But there is an awful smell that comes out of the drain. It had gone after the cleaner came on day 2 so clearly the drains need clearing often.
Breakfast was great and a...
Read moreI am extremely dissatisfied with the service and the way I was treated at Boutique Kaiser. I have been a regular guest for over a year, but during my most recent stay I went through several uncomfortable and embarrassing situations.
I made several different reservations — all fully paid — yet there were serious communication failures and unjustified extra charges. In the last incident, I paid for the stay at 6 a.m., and still, around 3 p.m., staff members knocked on the door demanding payment again and threatened my friend, saying they would remove my belongings if the payment was not made a second time.
At check-out, I went to the reception to request a refund of the amount I had already paid, but the hotel refused to acknowledge their mistake. Since no solution was offered, I intend to file a police report and take legal action — not because of the amount itself, but because of the lack of respect and professionalism shown to guests.
I am sharing this experience so that other guests can be aware, and so the hotel may urgently review its procedures and customer...
Read moreA reasonably priced modern hotel located in the Bahnhofviertel (Train station quarter). Location is super convenient and surrounded by many restaurants and bars, ice cream shops and other stores. But the area is also somewhat "grungy" and you do see quite a few random drug users and odd people around but it doesn't feel unsafe. Breakfast buffet is excellent and has good variety!About the rooms: do note that many of the rooms especially the Superior suites are wheelchair accessible which means they will have no shower partition and the bathroom sink is in the middle of the room (even though the floor area of the room is bigger). The Deluxe rooms, although smaller, will have shower partitions and the sinks will be inside the bathrooms. An exception is rooms like #104 which was the initial room we were given. It is considered a Deluxe room (cheaper) but it is larger than the other Deluxe rooms and has more storage and furniture, but is not wheelchair accessible. It has the perfect mix of space and functionality but that room was the furthest away from...
