Indian Curry Castle — Restaurant in Frankfurt

Improvements needed! This place only gets 3 stars because it actually is quite well decorated compared to a lot of Indian places I have been to.

The poppadoms were stale and chewy, they only take 30 secs to fry so can't understand why we didn't get fresh ones. The starter of chicken tikka came out within 5 min of ordering and I suspect it was microwaved having been cooked earlier. It didn't have that bbq taste.

And lastly both mine and my wife's curry was made with little effort. She had a 'saag' (spinach) dish which should be completely green but was spotty instead. You can see an example of what a 'saag' dish looks like on someone else's review here.

Overall, this place is a little disappointing because the kitchen sends out food which is not correctly made and the staff did not offer to replace the dish either. They also mixed up orders between our table and the table near us on two occasions.

Absolutely amazing, as a woman who suffers with anxiety I didn’t have much hope as most places are really busy, not this place tho this place was really relaxing, all the staff were really friendly and welcoming too!

The food portions are perfect, the food is amazing quality and probably the best food I have had in my 2 week stay in Frankfurt.

To top off our stay the lovely man didn’t get his name sorry gave us a free drink to try as it was an Indian drink and we had a joke because we was English. 😂

This place offers a range of food, for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters which is amazing to have the variety of options available!

I had the butter chicken and my friend had tikka masala and it was honestly perfect, making it suitable for everyone is honestly amazing ❤️

Honestly this is a home from home environment, the staff have good banter, the food is bloody amazing and I will definitly come back to Germany just to go to Indian curry castle.

We have taken away the food just today around 7p and ordered 1 chicken tikka masala, 1 paneer butter masala, 2 roti for 27.40 euros. We walked to the hotel which is 500m away and opened the food although it was well hot but missing one roti which we have paid for. We are leaving Frankfurt tomorrow morning so no point of getting a refund by going there again.

Food was average than we had in other EU countries.

Not happy with the accountability and accuracy of such small order.

We only got one roti in the foil with chicken tikka masala and rice and paneer and rice . You are liars, why would give 3 when we paid for 2 rotis? for just 2 euros , shame on your business ethics. Mark up and admit your mistake but you are blaming for 2 euros and you are liars for rotis which is your business and living. Shame on you again and whole restaurant...
