We stayed there for a few days in the summer ..||No problem checking in , yes there is a small elevator but to be expected in these old buildings, it was no problem always worked fine.||The room was a little dated but clean and to me thats the main thing..bathroom and bed linen was clean , the room wasn't big but it was fine for us as really all we wanted it for was to shower and sleep , then out most of the day..||The main problem was there was no air conditioner, didn't realise that most places in Frankfurt had no air ..even the shop staff were outside every chance they get, it was quite hot when we stayed there , the other thing was the curtains , although were block-out they did not cover the window well and we had to tape the ends to the wall to stop the sun from coming in as we had the afternoon sun facing our room and only had a small fan in the room..that made it uncomfortable..needless to say we spent most of the time outdoors..||The continental breakfast is great , dining room very modern and clean and always breakfast is well stocked.||It is in the best location, very close to Romer square and with many shops and restaurants all within walking distance, the river is also very close by ..Hauptwachehe station is also an easy walk away.||I would certainly stay there again if in Frankfurt you cannot get a better location for...
Read moreRead moreMe and a friend are in the city for a concert. We live about 3 hours from Frankfurt so we had to spend the night and this hotel looked great especially for the price. However the price and there being two (pretty clean looking) beds is the only good thing about it. As a woman visiting with another woman this is absolutely terrible and I wouldn’t have picked this hotel if I knew about it - There is no reception and the Hotel is open to pretty much anyone wanting to get it. So being in the middle of the city with lots of people and men walking past this open entrance saying “HOTEL” above it, it is very dangerous. We didn’t spend a lot of time in here but while being almost asleep we were awoken by a knock on the door and a male sounding voice. Immediately put a chair in front of the door but that doesn’t offer lots of safety either way. On top the room isn’t really that comfortable or clean and I personally don’t feel comfortable showering. The room next to it is very close and you can hear every word said. So no privacy as well. |All in all I really wouldn’t recommend this unless you really can’t spend anything more. The price is good, but what is offered isn’t worth the...
If you are plus size, don't bother. Showers are super slim and you cannot fit in them or as you finally fit in, you feel like you will break it. Room was in... Okayish? condition overall, curtain was ripped from the middle, the door was extremely difficult to open (we almost had to break in, even with right code) and bathroom lightning.. Well, there was a "light". Sink's faucet was moving alot when you tried to use the sink. Carpet in the room was bit messy looking, but bed and bedsheets were okay. We were able to hear everything our neighbors were saying so I assume they heard us too. The entrance was open 24/7 and smelled bad. Not the safest option, as anyone can just hang out in the corridors. Dealing with this hotel (and the company behind it) was absolute horror, as Google or the third party I used to book the room doesn't have correct number to their customer service. They also don't answer any emails or messages, which is alarming. I would give that 0/5 to be honest, but apparently I have to give something. Location was 4,5/5. Super close to perfect. Basically only good things were...
