Isoletta PMP | Zimmerweg — Restaurant in Frankfurt

I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone who loves Italian food. We were visiting Frankfurt Book Fair and we were going down the Zimmerweg Strasse and trying to have a table at every café on the way but we did not like any of them, and then we found Isoletta. We immediately loved the atmosphere here and decided to stay. Although we only planned to come for one glass of wine we decided to stay for longer and have dinner. I was amazed that they have great vegan options on the menu and I tried vegan pinsa and bruschetta with tomatoes - both were delicious! The waiter, Salvatore, was really friendly and fast and he also recommended us a great wine which we liked very much. We also liked that the music was only playing in one part of the restaurant so we took a table at another end, and although it was very crowdy and people were talking and laughing loudly, we heard each other really well. I had the tomato salad to start. It was delicious and the mozzarella like little pillows. My go to main in an Italian in Spaghetti Carbonara and this was great - made exactly the way it should, so nice and dry with small slices of bacon, dusted with parmesan. I enjoyed a glass of pinot grigio with my meal

I'm not sure why but I was seated in an area of the restaurant by myself (could it be because I spoke English). This left the service a little lacking.

Delicious Dishes & Drinks, Great stuff and Cozy modern restaraunt

Every time i travel for a visit or meeting to Frankfurt, i have to stop for a nice lunch in one of my favorite places. The location is great and easy to access with the Metro. The food is really delicious, last time i had spaghetti with Tuna. The Tuna was grilled/ cooked perfectly not to dry and really juicy.
