Jambo Bar - Frankfurt — Restaurant in Frankfurt

We were looking for a place to have some drink in Frankfurt on our first night there, and that was almost the only one which was open. Prices are not that high compared to Frankfurt. The space was small as it was full house, we could only sit outside.

There was a little problem with the service. Unfortunately, only one of the waitress girls spoke English well, and she was very busy and running around with orders between the tables. The other girl tried to serve, but she very hardly understand what we were saying. In 10 minutes we got what we asked for, one of my friends asked for 2 cl tequila and 1 cocktail. She got the cocktail, didn't get the Tequila, so she asked again, but then to the english-speaker waitress. She didn't get it in the next 20 minutes. She asked again. Still didn't get it, so she asked again after 15 minutes, and then she got 4 cl🤦🏻‍♀️ We didn't understand, but we didn't care anymore. Then she still didn't get salt and citron for the tequila, so she asked again, and we had to wait for that again. Already my friend felt bad that she ask so many times. BESITZERIN EINE KATASTROPHE

Wir waren zu 4 in dieser Bar was trinken, saßen relativ nah am Bürgersteig und es war spät abends(23Uhr) und nicht viel los (sagt alles zur dieser Bar, die Bars direkt nebenan waren Rappel voll). Naja nichts dabei gedacht uns zur Jambo Bar gesetzt weil noch Platz war und bei den Nachbarn kein Platz zu finden. Alles schön und gut, Drinks mittelmäßig bis kann man noch grade so trinken, der Service auch nicht das beste aber war nicht schlecht. Wartezeit 15-20 Minuten auch viel zu lange dafür das nicht viel los war. Bestuhlung draußen alt, unbequem und nicht schön.

😲😲😲 Das schockierende an dieser ganzen Geschichte ist, das die Besitzerin ununterbrochen sich lautstark über die Nachbarn beschwert hat und nur am lästern war mit ihrer 4ten Gin Tonic innerhalb 1 Stunde. Jede Art von Beleidigungen von sich gegeben als hätte sie ein Dämon in sich und das vor allen Gästen . So eine Asoziale Art und Weise ist unprofessionell und man sollte an sich selbst arbeiten und eventuell schauen wie man es besser machen kann bevor man frustriert sich den Pegel so weit antrinkt bis man nur noch Schwachsinn erzählt vor den eigenen Gästen.

This is one of the best places in whole Frankfurt to get a Gin. There is an extremely wide selection of Gins, Tonics and other mixers. The staff is very friendly and very insightful when it comes to finding the right pick for the night.

The prices can get fairly high here, but given the novelty of many of the Gins, this should be expected.
