We are their regular customers but their behaviour last night was very shocking.
The senior staff targeted our kids, from shouting at them to speak slowly to snatching the sugar away from a kid. Our kids were not loud. This is not the first time we are eating out with children. The staff felt threatened the moment they saw children and made a rather foolish assumption of their own. The waiter with his hair tied back in a pony was the one harassing us. He made sure to tell us we are not welcome in this restaurant with kids. When we involved another seemingly wiser waiter, he said this restaurant is not a kindergarten. (There were 3 kids and 3 toddlers sitting in high chair/stroller half asleep)
They have created a monopoly of halal restaurants at Zeil, with three of their restaurants on the same street next to each other, and they believe they can easily harass their customers. Read moreI had a burger from here with my cousin on December 30th. When I placed my order it was past 18:10 and the burgers of the people who came 5min after us arrived at 18:40. We asked where our order was and they said it was coming. Of course it didn't come because the waiter didn't care. Then at 18:55 I warned him in a more stern tone and I saw that our order was mixed up and that chef were arguing with the waiter. He said I'll bring it right away and of course it still arrived at 19:15. If you have such an incompetent order system, please don't accommodate so many people.
