Great place for a quick and easy dinner. Friendly staff and very tasty food. Some of the fastest service I've ever experienced. Lots of Turkish German customers, which is a good sign when looking for good Turkish food! Price not bad, 80e for 3 hungry gentleman.

I had the spicy lentil soup but the waiter messed up and got the not spicy lentil soup. They offered to exchange it, but I was already eating and didn't want to stop- too tasty! The flatbread with the soup was also amazing. Perfect consistency of fluff/crunch.

The Pide we ordered was genuinely the best pide I've eaten outside of Turkey. Highly recommended!

Got a huge plate for the mixed grill. It came with salad, rice, yoghurt sauce and some sort of bread cubes. Ended up only eating the perfectly seasoned meats and the salad. It was too much!

Would eat again if ever in Frankfurt for...

Cumartesi akşamı üç çocuğumla birlikte Doydoy Restoran’a yemek yemeye gittik. Dört yemek için 95 Euro ödedik, fakat dört içecek yerine beş içecek ücreti kesmişler. Ayrıca, ben kuzu şiş istemiştim ama bana dana eti getirdiler. Eti hiçbir şekilde yiyemedim çünkü bıçakla kesmek mümkün değildi; lastik gibi sert bir etti. Hayatımda ilk defa böyle bir durumla karşılaştım.

Garsonu çağırıp durumu anlattım, ancak garson yanımıza kendini beğenmiş bir tavırla geldi ve beni yalancılıkla suçladı; böyle bir şeyin mümkün olmadığını söyledi. Oysaki tüm etlerin tabakta olduğunu gördü. Muhtemelen ödemekten kaçınmak istediğimi düşündü ama kesinlikle böyle bir amacım yoktu.

Sonuçta çocuklarımla birlikte güzel bir yemek yemeyi umuyorduk fakat maalesef hayal kırıklığına uğradık. Ayrıca restorana ulaşmak için bir saat yol gelmiştik ve tüm çabamız boşa gitti. Sadece az miktarda salata ve biraz patates için 19 Euro ödedim. Şahsi fikrim, ödediğimiz 95 Euro’yu kesinlikle hak etmediğiniz yönünde.

Umarım en kısa sürede hem garsonlarınıza hem de servisinize daha fazla özen gösterirsiniz.

Am Samstagabend war ich mit meinen drei Kindern im Doydoy Restaurant zum Essen. Wir haben 95 Euro für vier Gerichte bezahlt, aber man hat uns für fünf Getränke statt vier berechnet. Außerdem hatte ich Lammspieß bestellt, aber stattdessen bekam ich Rindfleisch. Das Fleisch konnte ich überhaupt nicht essen, da es sich nicht einmal mit einem Messer schneiden ließ; es war zäh wie Gummi. So etwas habe ich in meinem Leben noch nie erlebt.

Ich rief den Kellner und erklärte ihm das Problem, doch er kam in einer sehr arroganten Art zu uns und beschuldigte mich der Lüge; so etwas könne nicht passiert sein. Dabei konnte er sehen, dass das gesamte Fleisch auf dem Teller war. Vermutlich dachte er, ich wolle nicht bezahlen, aber das war überhaupt nicht mein Ziel.

Letztendlich wollte ich mit meinen Kindern einfach ein schönes Essen genießen, aber leider waren wir sehr enttäuscht. Wir sind eine Stunde angereist und all unsere Mühe war umsonst. Ich habe 19 Euro nur für eine kleine Menge Salat und etwas Pommes gezahlt. Meiner Meinung nach waren die 95 Euro, die wir bezahlt haben, in keinster Weise gerechtfertigt.

Ich hoffe, dass Sie in Zukunft mehr Wert auf die Qualität Ihrer Kellner und Ihres Services legen.

I was visiting Frankfurt and decided to have Turkish food. The price is reasonable here however the waitresses are very rude and does not care about the costumers. They served other people after us. Food took a long time so whoever came after us was served and had their food. I asked for cutlery and it seems they didnt even care about us, so the food got cold... I complained to the guy and he said he has taken a table that is not his and he is doing us a favour by serving us. when I asked for the manager he simply ignored and he said we are all manager.

Awful experience. I don’t recommend this...
