Bistro & Café Ivy — Restaurant in Hamburg

I ordered a pasta in the vegan version but it came with cheese on top. So they took it back to the kitchen and I think they just substituted some of the salad that had the cheese on it, not the whole dish. So there was still cheese on my pasta! I saw it, I tasted it. I only ate some of the bread and left the rest. So disrespectful to do this. What if I had an allergy? Also, even if I don't, don't I deserve to have my dietary options respected??? So ridiculous. Never coming back and will tell anyone who listens to not go...

My favourite vegetarian/vegan restaurant in Hamburg (and definitely the best) after I had previously already fallen in love with Lily and the other Ivy Bistro. Their Italian bolo is to die for and the vibe and design of the bistro are impeccable. What’s more, both the restaurant manager Johnny as well as the creative mind behind the delicious food, Cengiz, are incredibly friendly and make you feel welcome the moment you enter the door.
