Burger Heroes Hauptbahnhof — Restaurant in Hamburg

First off, the food was fantastic. The burger meat specifically. And it was pretty cheap too. Given that that is the main point of a restaurant, 4 stars. At the same time, there are definitely very fixable problems they could improve. First, get some acoustic padding, then lower the volume of the music. That way, you can actually talk to each other. Fix the street fighter game, and put it in a corner so that people can play it instead of in the entryway. Then, make it so that you can order any of the sides as part of the menu, not just the Basic fries (which still tasted pretty good, but i would have preferred sweet potato) Also, the guy who announces that you food is ready has this really thick accent, and it's hard to understand what he says, and he pronounces your name wrong. We came here for a lunch based on good reviews, however we ended up quite disappointed - although the restaurant was almost empty, the waiters were not customer-oriented at all and they were a bit rude when we said we didn't speak German, maybe it wasn't intentional but they almost made us feel guilty for not being locals... the burgers were like 6/10, pretty good but nothing special, we would possibly come once again, hoping that the service will be friendlier towards foreigners... the meat in the burgers tasted well, however I found like 3-4 hard pieces which seemed like parts of beef bones, which was quite unpleasant as it was indicating the meat quality is not very high. if you want a nice burger in Hamburg I would recommend Grill & Green as it was the best...

This was on of those spots that I excited to eat at because it gave the feel of a premiere burger spot like in the US that was open late night and had the crazy line outside. The menu boasted to have smash burgers which are my favorite so I had to get down. Unfortunately, it doesn’t compare to what I’ve had in the states like (Trillburger or Burgers Never Say Die) but it was the best burger I’ve had in Europe.
