Kornhauskeller — Restaurant in Hamburg

We went today for lunch with a whole group of colleagues (9 people).They were super friendly and organised to arrange a long table for us straight away. The menu was attractive and the waiter marvelous. He was by himself and the place was popular but he still managed to get to everyone in good time. We all enjoyed the food a lot. Especially the lamb and aubergine dishes were popular. The veggies were fresh and perfectly cooked. My favourite was the cinnamon spiced rice that came with the dishes. It was a cuisine mostly new to us but it was all very tasty and everyone polished off their plates, which speaks for itself.

It was possible to pay with card but since we all were paying individually this put the waiter under a bit of stress as he was by himself. But he still stayed friendly and professional. The history here is ASTONISHING, moreover, the amount of beautiful artpieces here are incredible! Each painting appeared to be thoughfully painted, and thought out by the artist. What saddens me is the vandalism that happens on top of these paintings. It was a shame to see that people want to ruin the artwork for others to see.

Come to the Berlin Wall for a visit and take a tour to really listen to the astonishing history behind this wall. If you ever visit, I do recommend walking on the opposite side of the wall to see all of the paintings clearly as...
