La Casita Azul — Restaurant in Hamburg

Sadly our experience was not matched with the others here. The food and options were good.

However, at some point we were give the wrong dish and I assumed it was a salad on the house. The owner came to us and sounded very mad and aggressive, as if we were in the wrong?

I said we can finish the dish so it doesn't go to waste. The rest of the night the owner barely talked, still seemed mad and we did not feel welcome at all.

When the bill came, I was quite surprised that he added the dish full price. Bit strange, given they made a mistake (and knowing the price, I wouldn't have paid it)

The mistake, rudeness and extra charge made it a bad experience for us and we hope they learn from it. The other servers were...

So happy this place opened up in the neighborhood. We went on a Saturday night and they were packed, still the service staff was so attentive. More so the food was delicious!

The tortillas are fresh and all servings are so generous!! The brisket taco and chicken adobo are my favorite. The drinks looked delicious and I can’t wait for my next visit to try them!

Food was tasty and the staff was very attentive and friendly. It's a beautiful place. El Taco de pulpo with chorizo was a nice surprise. The quesadillas rellenas were really a thing. Agua de tamarindo was delicious. I won't give 5 stars because the taco with picaña felt a bit chewy and lacked salt. Other than that, it was amazing.
