Skyline Bar 20up — Restaurant in Hamburg

I was excited to visit that place but im totally disappointed about the service in the restaurant & bars. My review for you will be 0 ( very very bad service by the waitress ). I have never saw anything like that from the blonde girl that work there. I have visited more than 20 countries over the world but never see something like that, an arrogant, selfish and definitely a bad person. We did nothing wrong, came there to drink something and just tried to move the table by 2cm because we were so near with another table and the blonde girl from the bar came to us like we killed somebody, telling us with an arrogant voice “ what are you doing, are you normal” and more bad words that I don’t understand because i don’t speak German. This is not normal, a place with 5 starts this is unacceptable. We came here from a long distance just to visit that place but the service is so bad, the only one that helped us was the bodyguard. We were there around 9-10PM, 4 people just to drink something and the waitress was a blonde girl, i think at around 25 years. Im so disappointed about the service and i will never recommend that place to anyone. Thank you and i hope this will never happen to...

Cocktails were fine, staff and the COVID regulations were not. Because they don’t add up. First time visit and also the last after hearing promising mentions of this place.

They demand €2,- per mask and require you to buy one from them even if you bring a appropriate mask. But then most of the staff if not all of the staff doesn’t wear a mask (properly). They wear it on their chin or under their nose. Service was rude and forcing people to pay €2,- per mask while we brought our own masks and were told the masks were free but upon paying they added €4,- for 2 masks on top of the bill. The next thing that bothered us was that also a lot of the guests were walking around without a mask and tables were stacked right next to each other, so close you could almost be sitting at a different table while sitting at your own.

I was welcomed here immediately and greeted warmly by Nika and thus felt right at home the second I took a seat! The music is exactly right, the ambience to be envied and the staff talented, humorous and hospitality incarnate! Justine made sure I always had what I needed, Nika understood my taste from the second I started talking and mixed my drinks to fit my taste and desires perfectly. With Arian, the shiftlead, who managed his team amazingly (and funnily enough was also my namesake), the team here is in great hands and overall does an amazing Job!

I think everyone who has been at 20up before knows and appreciates it for its great style, amazing view and stylish interior and ambiance; the aspect that, to me, elevates this Bar from a good one to a GREAT one, is its staff!
