I've lived in Germany for over 6 years and it's a struggle to find decent burgers. Usually there's something off, horrible stale buns, too thick patties, or trying to be fancy burgers.
If you want a real American tasty burger, this is the spot. Yes they are relatively expensive (9€ for a double cheeseburger) but they are huge, fully customizable and the best tasting burger you'll find this side of the Atlantic. You also have a free ketchup dispenser (unheard of in Europe) as well as free refills where you fill it up yourself with whatever soda you want (also unseen in Europe).

Then the preparation started. You can see all the process in the open kitchen which is nice. But then when you see the ladies sloooowly handling each step you just want to jump in and do it yourself. Our baby started getting grumpy and we were almost leaving without the burgers. Once opened the package the package the amazing smell hits you. First bite and you forget the waiting and money. Pommes was spread losely in a paper bag - we ordered a large portion and they packed it in a paper cup, but ad the cup was too small, they put the rest simply loose in a bag with all the other food. Drinks they gave only from coca cola. Burgers were wrapped in alu foil, Mc Donals offers more comfort and pays more attention to the food.
