The service was good eventhough they only had one lady working the orders. They had another lady working cleanup. Like I said everything was great until I paid. I paid with a non-German /European Credit Card......this should not matter. But I was charged a SURCHARGE of €1.36. The waitress did not know either, she said the machine automatically charged it. I believe this is ILLEGAL, ESPECIALLY if it is not posted anywhere warning non-European customers. So if the owner reads this, and you did not know this, you should really change it or post a warning to your customers. And if you did know this, shame on you. This is the first time I have ever seen this.

Edit: I found more information on this surcharge, the owner is required to let the customer know we are being charged a fee to use a certain card. I was not notified of this...

We’ve been to this café/restaurant a couple of times now, and honestly, we really like it. I love trying their different ice cream flavors,it’s actually one of our favorite spots in Heidelberg to grab ice cream.

This time, we had ice cream and a waffle, and the waffle did not disappoint. Super tasty! It’s a cozy place where you can chill with a coffee, have some drinks, and treat yourself to dessert if you’re in the mood. The dessert game here is strong, for real.

There are usually enough seats, although it can get a bit crowded, especially since it’s a well-known franchise. But there’s also outdoor seating, which is really nice when the weather’s good.

All in all, it’s a solid and reliable spot. Whether you’re going alone or with friends, it’s always a safe choice for a chill time and some...

Incredible quality with all products. For me, since I am a bit of a coffee fanatic, it was important that the quality was good, that they had the terminology down at least a little unlike many other coffee places that don't even understand things like Espresso macchiato. Come on! But they understand that and as I said, the quality is great. The backed goods (e.g. waffles) as well.

The one downside, is that the wait was sort of long, there isn't a sufficient amount of space and that at our table and the two tables around ours there were a total of four mistakes with the orders in a span of just under an hour.

So while the quality is great you need the all over experience to be suitable to satisfy my high standards for five...
