Heidelburger — Restaurant in Heidelberg

I know this might sound a bit extra, but trust me, it’s not—I’m still thinking about the burger I had yesterday! It was truly a piece of art. I never realized a burger could taste this good until now.

Where do I even start? The bun was perfect—soft yet sturdy, it didn’t fall apart while eating. The meat? High-quality and full of flavor. The salad inside? Fresh and crisp. And that homemade sauce? Absolutely incredible.

The fries were just as impressive—freshly made and served with two delicious homemade sauces that took them to the next level.

We ordered the Chili Cheese Burger, the Heidelburger, and a Cheeseburger with bacon—each one was fantastic. The menu is packed with tempting options, but we stuck with the basics this time. Next time, we’re definitely trying the specials!

It’s a self-service spot, and while it’s quite small, it’s 100% worth visiting. Hands down, the best burger I’ve had in Germany so far!...

We got the bacon cheeseburger menu with fries and the chicken burger with sweet potato fries.

Perfect smashburger, high quality meat with perfect filling to bun ratio, nice and saucy with tasty sauces. Meat is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Really nice fries, nice sauces.

The chicken burger was really tasty but the portion of meat was very small. The sweet potato fries are very good. It’s hard to find a sweet potato fry that’s actually crispy but this one was, and tasted very purely of sweet potato.

The only main downside is that the restaurant is small. But if you come in off hours that’s not a problem.

I had the chili cheese burger meal, which included potato wedges and a drink.Positive aspects included the big portion of wedges, the fast service and the flavourful dips which were included with the meal. However ,I wish the people behind the counter were a bit friendlier. To keep in mind: they have a self-service concept which we ( and other customers)didn't realize at the beginning so we were waiting quite a bit for a waiter to take our order only to realize it's self service after seeing another table going to the counter and ordering.
