One of the best places to eat in Heidelberg! Been here twice during a 4 day stay in the city. The interior design creates warm and cozy atmosphere, so do the blooming plants on the tables. The staff is very polite and friendly - they never fail to help you decide with your order and always ask how you liked the food (although the empty plates talked instead of us). But they did accommodate our request for small portions of french fries for the children -- There is no children's menu. The lunch menu options ranged from about 7 € to 19 € today. Outdoor seating area has large umbrellas that give shade to at least some of the tables. You will literally watch thousands of people walk by while you eat your German...

Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy traditional German food in a...
