Central Grill Kebap Pızza Burger — Restaurant in Mainz

Very good place to have a quick bite!

I have visited this restaurant many times and I have never been disappointed, mainly because I always go for the same meal - my favorite - lamb skewers with rice. Really tasty, quite big sized meal, with a variety of side dishes and for a relatively decent price! I cannot comment on any other dish as I have never tried anything else. The waiting times are quite short despite the fact all meats are freshly grilled.

Apart from the food I like this place for two other reasons: firstly, I am able to pay with a card (unlike in many other same-type establishments) and secondly because of their quite high hygienic standards. The restaurant is always clean and very well maintained and I saw staff regularly wiping the tables while waiting for food. Generally the waiters and cooks are very nice, friendly and customer oriented. The seating is decent, however the outdoor part is a little noisy as it's close to the main road and big crossroad. I went to this restaurant around 10 pm, even though they advertise being open until 2 am. Unfortunately, most of the menu wasn’t available because the staff said the grill had already been cleaned and they didn’t want to use it again. The only thing available was chicken döner.

If the kitchen stops serving nearly 4 hours before closing, that should be made clear. Otherwise, it’s misleading to say the restaurant is open until 2 am. Very...

Wir hatten Adana Kebap für 16 Euro und einen Dönerteller für 10 Euro. Portion vom Dönerteller war sehr sehr Mickrig und sehr wenig fleisch , zusätzlich war der Reis verklebt und generell hat das ganze gericht zu viel Versalzen Geschmeckt. Adana Kebap war nicht richtig gebraten und noch Roh an sehr vielen stellen. Wir haben dann gebeten den Adana Kebap nochmal zu Grillen und mussten dann nochmal sehr unangenehm warten, und der Adana Kebap landete während dem essen vom teller wieder auf den Grill . Es war sehr unangenehm , aber wir mussten das bemängeln da das fleisch einfach roh und lila war . Mussten dann quasi unangenehm warten und vom dönerteller zusammen essen. Dönerfleisch war kalt und versalzen wie gesagt . Uns ist dort einfach vom Essen der Appetit vergangen und wir haben 30 Euro für eine schlechte erfahrung ausgegeben. Auch wenn der Mitarbeiter bereit war den adana kebap nochmal zu braten , waren einfach zu viele punkte negativ und ungeniessbar . Dönerfleisch kalt und versalzen , das fleisch ist nicht wirklich hochwertig und sehr wenig mit viel weisse fett . Wir haben uns sehr gewundert das im laden viel los war zu dem zeitpunkt .
