We went for the 15 euro (per person) lunch sushi buffet, and were pleased with the quality. There wasn't a great deal of selection, and the rolls were "rice heavy", but the ones we ordered were good for the price.
As with just about any "all you can eat" offer, the quality/selection is never as good as it would be if you ordered individually, and they offer various little snacks to helo fill you up on anything other than sishi, but we still enjoyed it (to be fair, the included spring rolls or soup were tasty :P). When eating sushi as a meal, I typically eat 4 rolls; here I was pretty much full after 2 (due to the amount of rice used), but managed a third :P.
The staff seemed friendly, and the wait times were acceptable. Based on the number of kids running around, it seems like a family business, which is nice. It's unfortunate that so many weak willed people are unable to make it through a single meal without lighting up multiple cigarettes... which made the dine-in experience an unpleasant one, but apart from that, I'd recommend this place if you want good sushi at...
Read moreThis place had only 2 reviews and I was feeling in a pioneer mood this evening. When stepping in, I discovered they had an all you can eat formula during the week (17,90 euros in the evening). Small plates would pass in front of you on a small conveyor belt. I told to myself «well, why not ». I sat. A waitress was arguing with someone on the phone behind the bar just next to me. The thought that maybe I had not made the right choice popped into my mind. I looked at the conveyor belt more closely until I noticed a pair of sushi passing by: 2 huge bricks of rice with a very thin layer of salmon. I then realized that actually very few dishes contained fish and that those who do had an abnormaly low ratio fish/rice. The idea that I was in the wrong place was progressing into my mind. Finally, the waitress came to me and asked in a tone that made me feel like an undesired piece of trash «So, to drink?». I politely asked for the menu. It came right away, but it was too...
Read moreReally fresh and delicious, a bit on the spendy side that didn't match the atmosphere - there was a big screen TV blaring the most obnoxious recording of a Helene Fischer concert. She & some guy were singing "the sound of silence" so loud that when they got to the "neon gods" part I burst out mocking it, saying, her audience is bowing to her and her neon lights. I would've liked to return to this restaurant for the food, but can't quite stomach the TV nonsense. Also, we didn't have any of the Vietnamese dishes, so I can't say if it was good, but the Asian dishes we had (more Chinese type) were very fresh and tasted good. It is not an inexpensive restaurant though. You can get much better atmosphere...
