Ich hatte drei Übernachtungen im Central Hotel in Mannheim und kann leider keine Empfehlung aussprechen. Das Hotel ist stark heruntergekommen, der Zustand insgesamt wirkt sehr veraltet. Alle Fenster gehen direkt zur stark befahrenen Hauptstraße, die Straßenbahn fährt im Minutentakt vorbei – das ist eher eine Ganzkörpermassage als Nachtruhe. Besonders enttäuschend: Das Stoffsofa im Zimmer war mit weißen und schwarzen Flecken übersät – absolut unhygienisch und inakzeptabel. Einziger Lichtblick war das Bett: sauber und in Ordnung. Nach Beschwerde wurde ein neues Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt, das zumindest mit verschließbaren Fenster punkten konnte. Das sofa war GENAUSO in dem oben beschriebenen Zustand. Das Band roch sehr stark nach Abfluss. Der Duschkopf war kaputt und der Wasserstrahl daher inakzeptabel. Einige Haare in der Dusche und dem Waschbecken insgesamt war der Aufenthalt enttäuschend und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht vertretbar.

Das Zimmer ist sehr klein, reicht aber zum übernachten. Zudem liegt das Hotel sehr Zentral. Zudem war das Personal an der Rezeption sehr freundlich. Das Badezimmer war allerdings ein Schock. Erstmal musste man die Toilette 3 mal spülen mit jeweils 5 Minuten warten bis der Spülwasser wieder vollgelaufen ist um sein Geschäft weg zu spülen. Zudem wurde anscheinend in der Dusche der Siphon noch nie saubergemacht. Als ich abends duschen wollte kam mir plötzlich die silberne Abdeckung des Abflusses entgegen, zusammen mit irgendeinem Schmant der sich dort angesammelt hat. Der Abfluss war ebenfalls halb zu so das sich das Wasser 5 cm hoch in der Duschkabine sammelte. Das war echt lecker…… Sowas geht garnicht im Hotel !!! Die Dinger müssen saubergemacht werden!!!!!! Das war mit das widerlichste was mir bis dato in einem Hotel passiert ist.

Wir haben in diesem Hotel für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise übernachtet, da wir einen praktischen Übernachtungsort vor unserer Weiterfahrt brauchten. Wir sind sehr spät angekommen und hatten dies im Voraus mit der Rezeption abgesprochen. Das Personal war freundlich und hat alle unsere Fragen ausführlich beantwortet sowie erklärt, wie alles funktioniert. Das Zimmer war gemütlich, warm und sauber, mit angenehmen Kleinigkeiten wie Hygieneartikeln im Bad. Der Straßenlärm von Autos und Straßenbahnen war hörbar, aber da wir sehr müde waren, hat es unseren Schlaf nicht gestört. Insgesamt ist es eine ausgezeichnete, günstige Option für alle, die in Bahnhofsnähe übernachten müssen. Vielen Dank für den komfortablen Aufenthalt!

when booking the room it gave me the option of having an early check in which i opted for, but even though i arrived later than planned the room wasn't ready when i arrived had to wait apx.45mins to check in, i was also given the option of a smoking or non-smoking room but when i got there there are no smoking rooms.the room itself was nice, basic enough bed,tv(no english channels) fridge, big bathroom with bath & power shower, it was very clean and we had our beds made,bins emptied and towels changed daily.our room was facing the main street so there was some noise but nothing major. 24hr reception. The location is excellent literally 2 mins walk from the HBF train station, irish bar and internet cafe. Stayed for one night on business. Located very close to the main train station, and one of the main roads so easy to find.||||Small reception and bar area, friendly welcome. Room was clean & basic, but had all the essentials needed for a one night stay (including free Wi-Fi). Little bags of haribo on the pillows as a welcome gift were a memorable touch!||||Breakfast is continental buffet style, with a good choice, so should be easy for anyone to find something enjoyable to eat.||||There was quite a bit of noise from the street through the night - if you think this would annoy you then it would be best to request a room facing the rear...

The Central Hotel in Mannheim is exactly what the name implies, centrally located. Close to the Main Station and the nightlife and shopping centers of Mannheim you can reach almost everything on foot within 10 minutes.||The hotel itself offers nice and clean rooms with comfortable beds. Some rooms are towards the front, which is also one of the main roads in Mannheim.
