Food was not authentic Japanese but tasted okay, decent for the price. However, the two middle aged asian lady waitresses were rude. The place closes at 10pm but one of the waitresses came and tried to take our plates away at 9:30pm when we had not even finished our food yet. When we told her that we're not finished yet, she appeared annoyed and sighed before walking off. A minute later she came out and was she was trying to tell us something but we couldn't understand what she was saying since we're English speakers who only know basic German. She then tried to speak Mandarin to me since I'm of Asian descent but I could only understand Mandarin and not speak it very well so I mentioned the fact that I only speak English. Ten minutes later the two waitresses came out and started chaining up the tables and started talking bad about us in Mandarin which I understood clearly since I'm familiar with Mandarin swear words and slurs against foreigners. It boiled down to "These stupid foreigners come to this country and can't even speak the language, look they didn't even eat their food. Stupid foreigners." The word used in regard to foreigners is derogatory in Mandarin. My girlfriend only didn't finish her food due to the bad vibes given by the waitresses and we felt we should leave.

tldr; Food was okay for the price. Don't expect authentic Japanese though. They will try to get you to leave earlier than their closing time and the waitresses are rude and will bad talk you in Mandarin assuming you don't understand.

Would...

Have been to this restaurant a couple times and it never disappoints. Just a few minutes walk from the Hauptbahnhof it has a variety of bento boxes, rice bowls, sushi, sashimi, noodles, and so on. I usually either get their chicken teriyaki bento box or salmon bento box. I also have tried their fried noodles and a few other things. All the ones I have tried tasted well above average, the price of their food is also not so expensive and it comes with good portions. The atmosphere is good enough with a few Japanese decorations around, they have seats both inside and outside with enough staff to handle all the tables. They are quite a famous restaurant so there are times where it might be packed and you have to wait for a while but never more than ten minutes. I went there with a friend for lunch on a typical Tuesday and immediately got a seat but most of the tables were filled. Service is also always great and satisfying, they even have a menu book in English which is definitely a plus point for people who don’t understand German and want to eat here. Definitely a great place to get Japanese food in Munich, would really recommend you to try...

This restaurant is just a 10-minute walk from Central Station. I'm Korean, and the Kimchi Udon reminded me of Korean Janchi Guksu—just with different noodles! We really enjoyed the fried vegetables, and the Bento box came with beef, fried veggies, soup, and more. Everything was delicious. The owner welcomed us warmly. When I greeted him with “Ohayo,” he replied “Annyeonghaseyo,” which felt very respectful and thoughtful of him. He seemed like someone who had worked as a chef at a fine hotel before—maybe even at an elegant place, judging by his manner and cooking. The steamed rice was perfectly cooked, too. If we get the chance, we’d love to come back. Sayonara! Hontōni arigatō gozaimashita.

I’d not say this is authentic Japanese food but everything I ordered was tasty. The staff was friendly and attentive. I liked that you could go up anytime to pay at the counter close to the entrance before you left. There was one female staff, who seemed to be an important figure there, who was quite violent with plates and menu books. She was literally slamming them down on the table, constantly making loud bangs. As someone who is intimated easily by loud noises, it was unpleasant. I was just glad that the staff who served us was really nice. I can imagine a ramen or any soup dishes will be all over my face if she served it by slamming it on my table lol
