Döner Deluxe — Restaurant in Munich

To be fair to the restaurant, the service was reasonably polite and friendly, and the burger and fries we were adequate. However, the pizza was absolutely unacceptable quality. I’m writing this review to warn potential late night diners looking for a slice to look elsewhere. It pains me to say, this was the worst single slice of pizza i’ve had. It was clearly sitting out all day and poorly reheated. It was lukewarm, tough and rubbery, as though it were quickly microwaved. One small portion of the slice was legitimately inedible, as it was rock hard. I cannot stress enough...

Really enjoyed my visit to Döner de Deluxe in Munich. The döner teller was generous, tasty, and very filling. Staff were friendly and even added extra sauce when I asked.

Another highlight is the variety they offer – beyond just the classic döner, there’s a wide selection of different dishes, so it’s a place you can come back to and try something new each time.

This review is based on the doner sandwich with curry Mayo. The food was excellent, filling, and priced at 7 euro. Sandwich had chicken, red cabbage, lettuce, curry Mayo, something like Taziki sauce, fries, and a touch of hot sauce. Bread was excellent, crispy on the outside, soft in the middle and freshly baked.

Note, menu is in German only and staff speak just a little English but will generally understand. There is one step in case you have mobility issues.
