Cupido The One and Only ''Arte di Cucina Italiana'' — Restaurant in Munich

First of all, food is fine. I'm not fan of Italian places, but this was ok, tried homemade pasta with shrimps, it was good (maybe not really much shrimps). But for sure not worth almost 20 EUR for pasta, too expensive.

The place is really-really small, I read reviews beforehand, but I was still surprised - basically, the whole space is just 3 bar-like tables and 2 regular tables, so I would say it fits not more than ~15 people (and maybe a bit more if you're close to each other).

So far it could be strong "4", but definitely minus star because they do not accept regular cards for payment (only local cards). De-facto cash-only, 2021, no comments.

And they have updated menu silently, so when I came, I was not able to find the item I wanted to order when I checked the menu online day before visit. This was quite frustrating and made me crazy ("how come, I'm sure there was this item in the menu, where is that?").

We arrived early in the evening at 18.00 and were the first there. The owner was perfectly fine and had a reserved manner which was perfectly fine. He was very polite, informative and made recommendations. We went for the menu for two (EUR38+ per person)which was best value for money considering the size of the portions and the variety involved - five different starters on one plate, then three different pasta varieties (including the famous parmesan truffel pasta) finished off with refreshing strawberries in a mascarpone sauce. Very nice indeed and highly recommended. My only reservation was the high price of a normal coffee at EUR4 and the fact that you at not offered a complimentary digestiv upon leaving. This would be nice and appreciated particularly when one leaves over EUR100 at a sitting plus a healthy tip. Therefore a top end four out...

I was at Cupido's tonight with my wife, and we both enjoyed a good fish meal (mine was rare tuna with sesam crust on a bed of carrots) with a bottle of Ferrari. Before that, we had a home-made Belllini-style aperitiv and a great fresh salad. Friendly service and a nice environment. The only negative I can pinpoint is that the dining room is rather small, and tables are close to one another, although the owner maintains the lounge is compliant with coronavirus...
