LA-FAYETTE Restaurant und Bar — Restaurant in Munich

I had a wonderful experience at La Fayette in München. The food was absolutely delicious, prepared with great care and full of flavor. What made the evening even more special was our host — the level of attention and hospitality was outstanding. I asked for my meal to be prepared a certain way, and they went above and beyond to make it perfect. That kind of service really stood out and made me feel valued as a guest.

The only thing I wish could be different has nothing to do with the restaurant itself but with German outdoor dining laws. It’s unfortunate that smoking is allowed right at the outdoor tables. For non-smokers like us, the smell takes away from an otherwise wonderful dining experience. I hope one day there will be better restrictions so everyone can enjoy dining outside comfortably.

La Fayette is a restaurant located a bit secluded and almost hidden in the city center. The only reason I am giving it a 4 instead of a 3 is because the service was very nice and fix an inconvinience for us when we arrived. The ambient was very nice, it had live music in the evening and the outdoor seatings were comfy and nice. The menu offers a range of mediterranean cooking with the highlighs being balkan food, steaks, fish foods such as octupus and calamari, as well as pasta and pinsa. The place looks nice, but they fit so many tables that you are basically seating with the people on the table next to you. The food is ok, not great not bad. The service is terrible. They came only every 40 min to check on us. We ordered a 3 course menu and we didn't get the dessert after the 3 hrs we were there.
