La Fayette is a restaurant located a bit secluded and almost hidden in the city center. The only reason I am giving it a 4 instead of a 3 is because the service was very nice and fix an inconvinience for us when we arrived. The ambient was very nice, it had live music in the evening and the outdoor seatings were comfy and nice. The menu offers a range of mediterranean cooking with the highlighs being balkan food, steaks, fish foods such as octupus and calamari, as well as pasta and pinsa. The food on my side unfortunately was served almost cold (the burger), and was a bit bland, the octupus itself was tasty but the rest on the plate was bland too. But overall a decent experience.

Сервис тоже хороший, официант был очень приятный и вежливый. К примеру, я очень люблю кисло-сладкие коктейли и когда я прошу посоветовать мне что-либо, то обычно приносят что-то не то. А тут мне посоветовали коктейль от которого я была в восторге! Обязательно еще за ним вернусь) Не смотря на то, что в заведении написано, что они работают до 23:00 нас даже не выгоняли в это время. Мы ушли примерно в 23:10, так как было неловко задерживать персонал, но меня очень удивило, то как хорошо здесь к нам отнеслись. И это при том, что я не говорила, что у меня в этот день праздник. Советую это заведение!!

I had a wonderful experience at La Fayette in München. The food was absolutely delicious, prepared with great care and full of flavor. What made the evening even more special was our host — the level of attention and hospitality was outstanding. I asked for my meal to be prepared a certain way, and they went above and beyond to make it perfect. That kind of service really stood out and made me feel valued as a guest.

The only thing I wish could be different has nothing to do with the restaurant itself but with German outdoor dining laws. It’s unfortunate that smoking is allowed right at the outdoor tables. For non-smokers like us, the smell takes away from an otherwise wonderful dining experience. I hope one day there will be better restrictions so everyone can enjoy dining outside comfortably.

Overall, La Fayette is truly worth a visit if you’re in München — great food, exceptional service, and a host who cares about...

The place looks nice, but they fit so many tables that you are basically seating with the people on the table next to you. The food is ok, not great not bad. The service is terrible. They came only every 40 min to check on us. We ordered a 3 course menu and we didn't get the dessert after the 3 hrs we were there. After being tired of waiting we ordered the check (which also took 20 min to come) and they did not even apologised or care. Not...
