La Fiesta Muenchen Cantina y Bar Mexicano — Restaurant in Munich

So very disappointed and hurt by what happened. Went there literally yesterday to celebrate my friend’s birthday. He had made reservations there and I got there at the Door, so the Security guy asked for my ID and at the same time I was speaking on the phone, so I gave it to him. Whilst he’s holding my ID he keeps asking for my age and insists that I am not even 18years old. I am 25years old and it was clearly on my ID that i was born on the year 1998.I asked him if he can’t read or what because I couldn’t understand such ignorance and afterwards he told me I’m not allowed to get inside. I even asked to speak to the manager to see if I can explain or ask exactly what happened because I was so confused. Such an insult and I asked him if it was also because of the colour of my Skin because I’m black (racist). That even made him more furious. My friend the one who had a birthday even tried talking to the security guy but they didn’t even give a damn or Listen. Out of all the things that I said he kept on repeating that I said he was racist and clearly that says more about his personality! The age thing didn’t come up anymore, he was clearly hurt because I said the Truth. My friend who had a birthday and some of his guests had to leave in the midst of eating because they said if I can’t get inside it doesn’t make sense for them to stay. Bad service, bad security and no sympathy at all!! Was so disappointed because it was meant to be a good night!

Ich bin sehr enttäuscht und verletzt von dem, was passiert ist. Ich war buchstäblich gestern dort, um den Geburtstag meines Freundes zu feiern. Er hatte dort reserviert und ich kam an der Tür an, also fragte der Sicherheitsmann nach meinem Ausweis und als ich gleichzeitig telefonierte, gab ich ihn ihm. Während er meinen Ausweis in der Hand hält, fragt er ständig nach meinem Alter und beharrt darauf, dass ich noch nicht einmal 18 Jahre alt sei. Ich bin 25 Jahre alt und auf meinem Ausweis stand eindeutig, dass ich im Jahr 1998 geboren bin. Ich fragte ihn, ob er nicht lesen könne oder was, weil ich solche Unwissenheit nicht verstehen könne, und hinterher sagte er mir, ich dürfe das nicht Komm rein. Ich habe sogar gebeten, mit dem Manager zu sprechen, um zu sehen, ob ich erklären oder fragen kann, was genau passiert ist, weil ich so verwirrt war. So eine Beleidigung und ich habe ihn gefragt, ob das auch an meiner Hautfarbe liegt, weil ich schwarz (rassistisch) bin. Das machte ihn noch wütender. Mein Freund, der Geburtstag hatte, versuchte sogar, mit dem Sicherheitsmann zu reden, aber es war ihnen völlig egal, oder er hörte zu. Von all den Dingen, die ich gesagt habe, hat er immer wieder wiederholt, dass ich gesagt habe, er sei rassistisch, und das sagt eindeutig mehr über seine Persönlichkeit aus! Die Sache mit dem Alter kam nicht mehr zur Sprache, er war offensichtlich verletzt, weil ich die Wahrheit gesagt hatte. Mein Freund, der Geburtstag hatte, und einige seiner Gäste mussten mitten beim Essen gehen, weil sie sagten, wenn ich nicht hineinkomme, mache es keinen Sinn, dass sie bleiben. Schlechter Service, schlechte Sicherheit und überhaupt kein Mitgefühl!! War so enttäuscht, denn es sollte ein guter...

I went with 4 friends to have dinner and dance. When we arrived we got a table and made our order. First, the waiter brought all but one of the drinks we ordered. After about 15 minutes we asked how longer does it take, and the waiter was very rude and answered we should just wait.

After a while we had already finished our meals and asked for more drinks. After a couple of minutes (while we were drinking the cocktails we had recently gotten) we were told by the waiter that the table was reserved and we had to pay, stand up and if we wanted to stay we could just dance. I don't know what his problem was, but he didn't say any of that at the beginning and what bothered us the most is that other tables were and remained free but he didn't let us sit. He said they were all reserved.

If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, don't come here. The food is good enough, but it isn't Mexican either in flavor or composition. For example, my chimichanga was not deep fried, and it did not contain the common ingredients, rice, beans, or cheese. It contained a mixture of tomato sauce, potatoes, and - I think - some other vegetable and a little chicken. It was topped with cheese and came with french fries. There were no refried beans, rice, recognizable salsa or sour cream. The restaurant is in the middle eastern part of Munich, but this was not the tasty Lebanese or Turkish burrito. My wife had enchiladas that were just smaller versions of what I had. The tortia was not corn, and was not covered with chilli pepper sauce. Again, the food was ok, just not...
